It was a fun original concept - I'm not sure if there was an ending, but would be nice if it felt like you were building towards something, like a boss, or upgrades.

I initially thought that this was impossible to beat, then read comments here and realized the spirits only came from defeating enemies and when you returned you were in the spot you died at. Therefore, the most optimal way to play was not to attack at all, and then you'd never risk losing in the spirit loop and you could just run through the whole game. If you continue development on this after the jam, you may want to consider finding a way to force the player to actually attack things.

Thanks! Yea it definitely is. I wanted to err on the side of too easy rather than too hard for the jam. Definitely needs some more balancing passes.

Very interesting game, well done. When I got to the last outcome, I figured it was either every district for one party, or failing the time mission, since both may be possible outcomes. Game decided for me which one it was 😂

Game slows to a crawl pretty fast, I'm guessing some resources aren't being freed up.

Wow, that was an impressive game. Could totally see this ending up on Steam.

The sliding on the controls felt a bit weird. On my first run, got hit, and then every time I escaped the dungeon, immediately took damage again. Therefore I died and had to start over. Probably should've given an invulnerability period of at least a few seconds after returning from dungeon.

Wasn't sure if endless waves of pigs was victory or not. Game played really smooth though. Camera controls are nice, sound and art are great.

Interesting game, music and art were definitely good. Chopping felt a little unresponsive at times. Overall, nice job.

That's odd. I initially had uploaded it incorrectly, then later fixed it. Perhaps try clearing the cache/refreshing the browser tab? I downloaded the file after fixing it to confirm it was working. Thank you for giving the game a try!

Thanks for playing it! I agree, I wanted to add indicators for not enough money, but as crunch time hit, it got cut. Also definitely had plans to flesh out the level more as you can tell by the wide empty space.

Upload has been fixed if you'd like to try again. Thank you for initially trying!

Interesting game. Getting hit, and hitting enemies could use some oomph. Campfires don't feel impactful enough,  camping the tents seems more beneficial and easier.

Yes, I did forget the PCK, was rushing to upload for my first game jam - thank you for the info, I will definitely keep this in mind for next time! Working on trying to get the upload fixed.
