Thanks, yeah the rotating at the customizer was just one of those problems that was just small enough for me to procrastinate fixing until the end, and that was the plan to zoom on the associated feature, but again it was just a small thing that I had procrastinated off. I don't know what happened to get you flying off the map, but... I think there was an issue where you sort of build up momentum if you press space too much, so it must be done to that. Thanks for playing the game!
Thank you, yeah I went a bit too ambitious, too be honest I'm used to jam's normally about 2-3 days, so with 10 days I just sort of went wild at the start and the feature creep struck when I realised I didn't have half the stuff I needed towards the, the dialogue was made to stop loops, and was only supposed to be a quick fix I would later re-do but then the deadline creeped up. As for the combat... it was a bit of a rush to finish so there are definitely problems with it.
Yeah, I completely agree with you on everything, the game is very early days even for a jam game, and most of the things like sound effects and ammo was just a matter of time. I focused at the start on getting the gameplay sorted, got it to where it is and then realised I had like 20 hours to do everything else, so I just didn't have too much time to sort everything else out and even polish up the gameplay. Pretty much everything you've said here was started, like the weapon UI, the sound effects and the cursor (I think I know where that errors coming from but I just couldn't fix it in time). If I had even one more day I probably could have made the game much better. Thank you for the feedback though.
Any game about Doomguy-Able doesn't deserve to be this good, but damn it is real fun. Loved it, even if there isn't any of the limitation in it. Also, for some reason I can't shoot either straight up or straight down, just a weird thing. Anyway, loved it, aside from the shooting up or down, the player controlled really smoothly and it looked lovely!
Very fun, one thing, is it supposed to end when you get trapped staring at the wall? Cause I kind of clipped through the corner and ended up back in the last area, clipped back in. I tried it again but nothing seemed to happen after that, just asking to make sure I got the ending and didn't just break the game.
Loved the doom aesthetic and that was a creative use of the card mechanic.
Thank you, sorry about having too many cards, had wanted a bit more enemy variation, had different textures for the numbers and stuff for each of them, 2,3,4 all through to king, but I ran out of time before I could implement more enemy stuff.
Sorry about the menu issue, it was a very last minute job and I didn't get to check all the bugs, I think if you hit escape it'll bring the mouse back.
