In the FAQ on the front page, there is a part about teams. That part also includes the procedure for how to do it, and it's super simple!~

As of this time, this is still a problem.
For example, If I search for "Daggan" on the itch.io website, it correctly lists 2 name matches, followed by something related, and then the rest of the results are similarly named things. I shall list the first 10 results below in order;
- Daggan (+18)
- Daggan Pink (+18)
- Card game, prototype (+18) [Also Daggan Related]
- Danganronpa Zero: Memory Lapse
- Dangan GB
- Danganronpa: Dead End
- Danganronpa: Lapse
- Danganronpa: Bursting Love
- danganhell (2013)
- Danganronpa Fanfic (DanganFanfic) v2 - New World Order Prologue (Character...
If I type "Daggan" into the search tool in the Itch client, it lists 16 games that have literally nothing to do with Daggan. I shall list the results from the itch.io client below in order;
- A Dance of Fire and Ice
- CrossCode
- Friendly Bunny Mochi
- Russian Subway Dogs
- Oikospiel Book I
- Tales From Off-Peak City Vol.1
- The Norwood Suite
- Off-Peak
- Betrayal At Club Low
- DLC
- DYO
- Monolith
- DLS
- Monolith (Demo)
- Cube Trains
- The Things We Lost In The Flood
If that was the end of it, I'd merely be annoyed, but to spice things up a bit, if you type "Daggan" into the itch client search bar, it does actually pop up with Daggan! For a moment anyway. After some random amount of time (ranging from half a second to a few seconds), it swaps it out for the botched search again.
But if you then erase a bit of your search and type it back in, the search seemingly fixes itself?!
This seems to be a bug, and it would be great to have it fixed. I know this likely isn't the place to report bugs, so I thought I would put it here.
This seems like a fun idea, but after I made the pizza, I was completely stumped on how to actually deliver it. I tried playing it multiple times, thinking I had missed something, but I never spotted a button that says "deliver pizza" or anything like that, and letting the excruciatingly long timer run out didn't do anything either. I feel like I tried clicking everything I could, but nothing worked.
I must be missing something, but I feel like there's a chunk of the game that I can't even access (that other people could)...
Generally a very strong entry!~ Very charming and a lot of fun~
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
I actually didn't know I could use the scroll wheel to change the scale of the puzzle pieces in the final puzzle, so I was very confused, wondering why the pieces couldn't fit. I was stumped until I read the game page. My recommendation is to indicate that the scroll wheel can be used, or simply have double-clicking change the scale (Since that's the first thing I tried).
I really tried to give this a go, but I couldn't figure out what the game really wanted me to do. It seemed to limit the amount of tiles I could place, making it impossible to make anything at all.
I'm really confused about the tile limit, since one of the screenshots you show on the game page shows a lot more tiles than I was ever allowed to place
I was also never able to figure out the shrinking mechanic either. No matter how I linked up the inputs to the output, the game would never do anything when I pressed enter (or at least, it didn't seem to do anything).
The premise of this game sounds like it could be a lot of fun, but while I spent about 30-40 minutes on it, I just couldn't figure out how to play. It seems like this game is in desperate need of a tutorial of some sort.
Sorry for being kinda brutal, but I wanted to write something. I'm sure this game could become something great if you just fix the issues and help the player along a bit.
Hey, this has already been mentioned, but the download doesn't work correctly in the Itch.io client since you haven't properly tagged the downloadable version as working with any operating system.
Go to the game page, click "Edit game" at the top and then scroll down to "Uploads". There you should see a bunch of tickboxes for windows, linux, mac and android. Click the appropriate ones and then save the page.
Pretty much the only thing I had a problem with was the default controller mapping.
Whenever I enter a room and immediately need to shoot, I tend to accidentally jump.
There have also definitely been points where I've needed to jump, but accidentally shot.
Also one other thing, since Yuudai's interact animation is just them crouching, maybe you could make it that a regular crouch can also pick up items on the floor? By extension, maybe pushing up could interact with other stuff, such as locks and people? However that's just a suggestion and I think the way it currently works is just fine.
I will say, the game does a good job of ramping the player into the larger puzzles, but puzzle 12 "raspberries" was quite intimidating. I know that this game was made for a jam and it still needs a bit of balancing work. My suggestion would be to have a few more smaller puzzles to introduce the multi colour mechanic.
I guess I jumped the gun and got a bit defensive, however, I don't honestly think that itch doesn't have a single virus anywhere. People can upload any file they want, so they totally could upload a virus.
However, I've been kicking around on itch for just about 5 years now. I know that Itch isn't a minefield with a virus in every other download. As long as you're cautious about what you download, you should be fine.
Also, if you do encounter a virus, do the right thing and report it as such.
I'll also note, you told people to go and use a sandbox. The itch app does that by default. For the record, that is what I do most of the time, and I recommend it.Windows Defender should never be used as a last line of defence, I agree, however that's only because any virus that gets off the ground has to be able to bypass it in the first place.
I use Malwarebytes. It is a very good option and is extremely effective at blocking malicious files. Also, Firefox should be noted. Firefox stops you from even opening a downloaded file if it thinks it's suspicious. I'll admit, Firefox isn't a good last line of defence, although it's better than nothing.
Malwarebytes, as far as I can tell, doesn't give a damn about what Windows Defender thinks is okay, since it has its own database. So that sneaky Windows Defender evader would've been obliterated.
Neither Malwarebytes nor Firefox have ever blocked a single thing from itch, although they have protected me in the past on other sites.
Also, your analogy of the anti-virus being like a jammed gun is a little unfair, I'd like to think of it as a lock. Stopping the average joe from breaking in and doing as they please.
A bad anti-virus is a bad lock.
A good anti-virus is a good lock.
Also just to end off, my goal wasn't to start an argument. I understand what I wrote was a little passive-aggressive, but I was just stating my experience, not necessarily trying to downplay yours. I apologise if it sounded that way.
I've downloaded literally hundreds of games off of itch and I've never encountered a single virus.
Unless you're deliberately downloading dozens of extremely shady .exe files with the sole aim of getting a virus, you're very unlikely to actually get one, and even then you're still unlikely to get one.
And even if you do get a virus, if you have a half-decent anti-virus, you'll be safe.
Hey! I wasn't expecting this game to be so hard, but I think that's part of why it's so fun! Played this for a while and never got that far, but with more practice I think I can make it!
The game's generally pretty good at telling you if your next move is gonna get you killed, although it doesn't warn you if that Pawn that you're about to blow apart is currently blocking a Bishop that is camping out in the corner. I mean, if I was more observant it wouldn't happen, but it'd be nice if the shields warned you about those potential deaths too.
Can't wait to see what direction you take this project in the future!
Hey! This game is actually very fun! I do have a few things to say.
- When there are a lot of enemies, the enemy on the far right of the screen has a small portion of their healthbar obscured, meaning it's not possible to always know if they have enough desire to go down now, or if I'll need to increase it a bit more.
- It'd be nice to have a "Give up" button somewhere since I ran into a checkmate scenario in one of my runs. (I hadn't technically lost, but I couldn't win either.)
- An option to fullscreen the game, or at least change the size of the window, the game is really small on my 4K monitor.
I know the game is all about managing how much Pleasure you have, but since there are some cards that hint at strategies that involve deliberately increasing your own desire which leads to runaway pleasure, it'd be nice if there was a way to minimize or negate the amount of pleasure you get from banging. Maybe a card, maybe an effect, maybe something like a rest spot on the map? Just a suggestion.
