:] cool game, happy to be here.

IMPORTANT:

Due to a drastic programming error, you need to refresh the game after each run in order for it to work properly. Apologies for the inconvinience.

Loved it! Sometimes 2 robots fall at once in the same spot while the doors are closed, and they forcibly break, but getting the hang of the beat was amazing! it's gonna be full stars from me, the graphics worked well together, and the song and theme were on point! good job!

I negotiated with him. Usually he does not share cookies, but made and exception this time. Thanks for playing!

🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

Thanks for playing! Goober is meant to be a white, Fluffy kobold, but feels like it's evolving into it's own special creature. I'm happy you enjoyed the game, and will let Goober know you're proud of his High-Score :P

Addicting fun gameplay! Stacking games are always a blast!

I like the idea this has, it just feels a little short, but a chemist using potions as a weapon trough a plotformer level definitely feels like fun gameplay!

Absolutely LOVED this one! the little Ocra is adorable, and there's no shortage of chaos on this retro island! gold star!

Fun graphics and gameplay style. it was demotivating to move fast because i end up out of bounds. The game also wasnt playable on a touchscreen as advertised. other than that, fun game.

Simple and Charming, enjoyable experience. I was forst surprised u don't fall into the holes you create, but made sense as i watched myself be too slow to catch the hammers

Any "rate for rate" callout would be an instant ignoring of the person's project for me. Similar how "sub for sub?" on youtube automatically makes me have negative interest in the other person's channel.

To make it more clear, you can't make assets FOR the jam beforehand. If you have assets before the jam, that's good, But you can't make sprites with the mindset of them being specifically for the game jam.  So when the jam starts, and you get an idea of "hey, i could use (insert existing thing of yours here) to make things easier!", it's absolutely valid to do so, as long as you're not simply taking an entire pre-existing project and making it your jam submission.

Everything made FOR a game jam game should be made during the duration if the development time, Though people are usually allowed to use their old sprites and snippits of code from older projects (Small things like a scorekeeper or a common system seen in almost every game). You usually cannot make anything specifically for the Jam, before the developing time starts.

Edit: heres a bit of the rules part of this game jam specifically:

  • You may use pre-made, publicly available, and purchased assets, as well as GDevelop's built-in asset library, or other assets you have the legal rights to use. Just remember to credit properly.
  • You can use pre-existing code, extensions, functions. But do not write code specifically for this jam, ahead of time.

Haha, Thanks for thr feedback. And yes, I should really have made the manifests of insanity more scary and threathning, but hopefully i get around changing that. thanks for playing ;)

Hey, Thank you for the feedback! I have definitely gotten Lot of comments to improve on the difficulty and make it more fair, which i will hopefully get around doing. Thanks for playing, im overall pretty happy with my Score :D

Oh wow! Thank you so much. This feedback was amazing, and this alone motivated me in a great way to possibly make a post-jam patch, free of a deadline. My original plan was to make 10 Floors, with prebuilt layouts, or modularly randomized (like rooms in Isaac). I will DEFINITELY consider a Post Jam Update or even two, And definitely nerf the future floors, and i will also revamp the "get up" system for the wires (at least say it exists). Thank you for your feedback, and thanks for playing :). Happy Halloween.

the game was fun and easy, but i kinda missed the horror about it.

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed. A possible Post-Jam-Patch will certainly include a proper tutorial 👍

Hey! Thanks for playing, and sorry for making the objective seem a little Hard to understand. If you have any suggestions to improve the "How to play" section, let me know. :)

Thank you for the feedback! I wish i had time to make every floor unique layout wise as well, But the different enemies worked wonders too! Definitely on the list in case i make a post-jam-patch. Thank you for playing and the good feedback :D

Thank you for the Nice words. I really appreciate it, and i'm happy the game was enjoyable. :)

Thank you for your kind comment, i really appreciate it. And i'm happy you enjoyed the game too :>

Thank you for the feedback! If i get back to this, an easy mode is definitely on the List. Thanks for playing and i appreciate trhe kind words!

I don't feel like this fits into the Jam... The gameplay was fun but rather lacking.

Man, that's a toughie, thank you for discovering it! It would really go along with the theme of the game to have a "give up" feature, Or maybe i'll add the need to press a button multiple times to get back up. I'm happy you liked the game and found it challenging :D

Awesome seeing another Jam. You might not win money but you WILL earn game creation excperience. Good luck everyone and have fun!
