ohhh yeah that works

Oh and by the way, I think the Clay Exchange menu is broken, none of the buttons do anything

Game instantly crashes when I boot it up :/

This game is awesome! I've never played any of the souls games, but I have always wanted to and this is just great! Once you get the hang of it, and understand the mechanics, its very fun! Though, I would suggest maybe adding some text as a tutorial in the first boss fight, maybe above the player's head to guide newcomers, because when I first started playing I didn't realize swinging took stamina so I would get frustrated thinking that the game wasnt registering my swing inputs after I had been dodging a lot. Also, I love the graphics on this, very nice!

Awesome, extremely hard, but extremely fun too!

Cool game! Death is a little too punishing I think, since the game feels less like a shooter and more like an interactive sort of story game. Also, I think the ability to talk should be made more clear and also have a larger radius, for example showing text above the quark that says "press X to talk"; On my first playthrough I didn't realize the ability was to talk to other quarks, and I just went around killing everybody :P So I think this should be a more highlighted feature since its pretty important to the gameplay. I couldn't figure out how to kill the group of frog quarks, so I never managed to complete the game but I think it is a pretty cool game :)

Hey! We had pretty similar game ideas!

Fun! It was pretty challenging for me to beat though, I think it took around 10 or so tries :P Also, the art and the music is great!

Fun for a while; I wish there was the flag mechanic from the original minesweeper, just to mark where you know snakes are because I found myself playing this like normal minesweeper until I either had most charms or has some unclear locations. I guess that is one problem with the game, it can never really get hard, because there has to be an equal amount of snakes and charms PLUS empty tiles and at a certain point you can just use the charm safety net to spam tiles and then figure out the rest with the clues on the tiles.

This variation is fun though :) It's a good game and very well polished.

Also I think when you have all the charms all snakes should be revealed and the level should be cleared

Just played through again, there are definitely levels that are completed even without the match, for example level 8 can be completed with Gray, Gray, Gray, Blue but the pattern is Gray, Yellow, Gray, Blue

Love this puzzle concept! Very good game, the only issue I had was remembering what head shape has what trait, so maybe adding a 'help' button which would show what each head does again would be nice. Also I think some of the levels I completed even though the characters weren't matching the balls. I could be misremembering, or it could just be my confusion with all the different head traits, I don't know. Great game though!

Thank you very much! No that wasn't intentional and I will have to look into that haha.

Very hard! But also very fun. And I'm glad to report that certain words weren't removed from the word pool ;)

Very fun and very smart concept! Using the players intuition against them so they themselves make the game harder than it actually is

Well obviously there are a lot of problems with the game: the physics are janky, the art is all flat, the text is a bright purple or pink, there are typos; clearly your going for being memey. However, I do want to say that I had a lot of fun playing to get the highest score I could! The highest time I got was 6.183s. So despite its flaws, I do like this game and I did have fun :)

Very fun and addicting! My high score was around 1500, but this game really puts you into a flow state when you get good!

Thanks! You get more stars by replaying the level, its more like a prestige than a rating on how you did since each new star brings in more challenges to the level!

Is there a way to clear the current frame? If not, then that's something that should definitely be added. Also a way to undo would be nice, but I'm sure that's already planned.

Ahh yeah that makes a lot of sense. As someone who never really played pinball though, yeah it was a little counter intuitive.

Fun pinball recreation, but the controls are a little confusing. Is there any particular reason that the flippers controls are alternated between z/x and the arrow keys?

Simple but very fun! Spread seems to be the best weapon to get since well, there are a lot of asteroids spread out across the screen. Would love to see this game with an endless mode.

Yeah, I realized only after the jam that the issues i had with the borders around the game was due to a small type in building the game, where i set the height to 280 instead of 288... Oops! Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you! I am planning on revamping this whole game in a 'HD' version, with more mechanics and of course more fun. I'm not planning on charging money for it at the moment, but if it becomes a big project then maybe... most likely though, it'll be a free release for all the enjoy!

Very fun game, great graphics, but it doesn't really feel like it fits the space theme... I mean the space part is really just the level select and I guess you could consider the setting of the boss fight space, but it would kind of be like saying Mario Odyssey fits a space theme...

I'm hoping to make a new version of the game in 'HD' per se. Will allow me to add a lot more mechanics including some I wasn't able to because of the constraints, such as having a timer on moves which would ensure a level of difficulty! Thanks for your feedback!

Were you able to cycle to a piece which would fit, or did none of your available pieces fit? If the latter, definitely something I'm going to have to look into... Thanks for the feedback!

Cool! Didn't realize that was even a thing

Smooth and satisfying to play. Great visuals and animations. Has a little bit of a skill curve though. Would love to see this movement in other styles of games though, such as a survival game, or something more focused on the combat. Overall, great game!

Satisfying, but hard. The space theme feels kinda forced though, and the sprites don't mesh together, I'm assuming because this was a game made in 3d? Thos objects could use an outline shader.

Fun game, great graphics, and the sound design is great, too. Would love to see this game with a win/lose condition.

I'm on brave, but I tried it on chrome and now it loads!

Very trippy to play... Great visuals, smooth, fast gameplay, its a fun game, but I can't spend too much time playing or my head will explode haha. My highest score is a little over a minute, but for being so scrambled I think I did well.

Neat little game, very interesting idea of having the player choose what pieces go next into the 'tetris-style' trash compactor! It makes the game unique and serves as a double meaning for the space theme. Some critiques though, the gameplay could benefit from being faster, whether it be a faster ship or allowing multiple pieces to be carried, etc. The camera also seems to be a little wonky, every time the ship turns everything else also shifts a bit and it makes it look off. Also, not a critique but a bug: the game seems to break after the first playthrough.

Very hard! I think allowing the player to push up to two blocks would be fair, and also it feels like im constantly overstepping/double stepping. Cool game

Interesting concept, but the game was very confusing to me and its a little hard to tell where all the blocks are when you start filling up the space.

Fun and smooth platforming, but it could fit the theme of 'space' better

(1 edit)

yeah, it just shows me a black screen

edit: I checked the browser console and see this message

Cool game with a funny ending! I wish that the player was locked to grid movement, though, since i found myself overlapping multiple tiles and getting hit by spikes or lava a lot.
