This was a joy to play. It really reminded me of the Rito Postbox minigame in The Wind Waker, but a lot better to control. My only problem was consistently reading if they had a fruit or wanted a fruit. I kept mixing up the “+” and “?” for some reason. It might be the color since that makes it really easy to tell the fruit apart. Overall I had a fun time!

This is a really polished looking game !
Fun to play, looks and sounds great - good challenge to try and score high on the leaderboard :)
I really liked the art style, the animation and sounds of the crowd in the background. It is a great idea that you can play during the main menu! Great job!
I'm so glad you have the main menu version of the game, I think I spent a good 10 minutes just mindlessly trading while listening to a podcast this is such a well made and relaxing game! Super easy to understand because of the fantastic presentation too, I immediately understood what the game was all about without needing any tutorial. Maybe the only change I'd possibly recommend is having the + and ? be different colors, I think it'd be very satisfying for the players to connect them to colors to play the game more efficiently
Great work! Such an original concept. I'm going to save this game!
This is good. I kept playing a few times without realizing the round was over - but I liked this. Keep up the good work!
I like the artstyle, especially the designs of the people in the marketplace. It is simple and feels fitting for a marketplace. The music, background chatter, and day and night cycle really adds to the atmosphere.
I like that the title screen also functions as a test area so that new players can get used to the mechanics and signs first. The controls are straightfoward.
The choice of fruits and their design is also good, as they are distinct enough that you can determine which fruit a person is interested in from your peripheral vision. This strategy did have problem when it came to checking whether the person wanted to give or buy a fruit - I would mix up the "+" and "?" symbols and end up making a mistake unless I am staring directly at the speech bubble. Given the 20 second timer, I feel like this might have been a clever and intentional design choice to increase the likelihood of mistakes.
For the 20 second game jam, 3 fruits and 6 trade spots is enough. A possible improvement to help add more gameplay depth could be to give a point bonus for responding to a person's needs quickly.
A fun game about fruit rapidly changing hands.
I liked a lot the art and the music. In the general, great job with the presentation of the game!
Hey nice art and sounds the crowd walking in the back adds a tone, I imagine implementing this fruit system would be hard to do with-out locking the player so good job.
This submission is pretty good! I love the art and the gameplay is addictive. This is one I could come back to again and again
