How does your game match the theme?
The game takes place in space. You use the lack of gravity to move around. The aim of the game is to defend the Space Station from an invasion of aliens.

The movement mechanics are quite unique. It was super satisfying when I was able to plan ahead and kill several enemies in quick succession (except the times I bumped into a wall and got killed).
Nice presentation too, congrats!!
Very cool little game! I like the music a lot, especially the Big Peepers' theme.
Will say though, the controls ended up a bit frustrating - I kept accidentally dashing into stuff when trying to go diagonally because I let go of a movement button a fraction before the dash button and Space Ninja snapped back into side position instantly. Could I have solved this by not letting go of the movement buttons ever? Yeah, but if you gotta do multiple quick dashes for platforming purposes, then holding them down until you're well and truly sure you've dashed is a good way to not redirect in time. So, weird as it sounds, it feels like the controls were a little too responsive.
Fun & unique idea! The freezeframe when you kill an enemy is really satisfying
Only nitpick is the use of 5 colours, rather than the 4 a gameboy has.
Absolutely loved it! Great game mechanics, great graphics and sound. Soooo addictive! :-)
I don't have much to add; this is great! The mechanic reminds me a lot of the dash from Hyper Light Drifter.
Cool and unique gameplay. The impact frame is INSANE. I have no complaints. Full score from me.

Cool game, the player movement feels really nice!
This was a lot of fun! I spent a good amount of time playing! Great game!
Got stuck in a wall so I didn't finish it but it's a fantastic idea for a game! Attack feels really snappy and the oomph on a kill is just brilliant! I'm not a huge fan of level design here though, it doesn't seem to be the best fit for this game. Some more open ended arena shooter with waves of enemies rushing at you would be really cool here.
Music and graphics are great too! :)
This is probably just a ‘me’ problem (or my keyboard) but I found that when I let go of the charge button and arrow buttons it sometimes doesn’t register one of my arrow inputs… I did enjoy the game despite that.
very satisfying to play! congrats!
Smooth and satisfying to play. Great visuals and animations. Has a little bit of a skill curve though. Would love to see this movement in other styles of games though, such as a survival game, or something more focused on the combat. Overall, great game!
Crazy how something so simple can be so addicting! You guys did a fantastic job, especially with how the difficulty of the levels ramp up in difficulty and introduce new obstacles. Bravo!
One of the most fun games I've played in this jam, amazing work! The dash mechanic is low gravity is very enjoyable to play with, plus the sound and visual effects make slashing aliens super satisfactory.
Fun game! I wish you couldn't just spam attack, but besides that it was really cool!
Amazing game! It's nice to play, it's nice to listen to this music. Very cool art!
Super sweet game! Really enjoyed the game mechanics and art. If you are interested, I did stream it:

I love the concept of ninjas! Makes for very smooth movement :) Neat sound track too
I think the game is overall good. Difficult, but I was able to beat it. The one critique I'll mention is it feels a little cheaty to spam the movement button for better control. I was able to beat some of the later levels and only died a couple times by doing that.
But yeah, that music slaps 🤘
