Ah, didnt know about that. I'll do that then.

Btw your tutorials helped me tremendously when making this, thank you for making them!

Thanks! yea, i wish i had more time to make a run animation, but i ran out of time to do one.

Glad you enjoyed my game !

Thanks!

The sound and music are really good! The game feels nice to play.

Only thing i would change is the display size to be smaller in the browser, i didnt see all of the ui. Having the game window be like 720p with the itch button for fullscreen would be better imo.

That is the only issue i had with the game.

Very fun! Good job!

Nice, thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing !

Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks a lot for playing!
Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks a lot!

Nice short story, good job for your first time!

I'm amazed, this is outstanding form the visuals to the core concept and gameplay.

It only needs some minor polish, more levels and i can image this being on steam!

Outstanding work!

Thanks for playing!
I never used Construct or Gamemaker so i cant compare but i have used UE4, Unity and Godot.

For me its a night and day difference, there sure are some quirks with Gdevelop but the comunity is really active.
Plus the on-boarding is really interactive!

Cute and outstanding visuals.

Was really fun to play!

Great work!

Felt fun and polished !

Only thing is that the player felt hard to control and doge the bluets.

Outstanding  work!

Really great game! It was so fun!

Only nitpick was that i couldn't remove towers placed.

Amazing work!

The game was really fun!!

the visuals were also good!

Amazing work!

The movement felt really floaty and not in control.

Some sound would go a long way in my opinion.

It's a nice little platformer.
Good job!

Visuals were nice and the gameplay was fun!

Good work!

The graphics are nice and consistent, the music and sound effects fit the game well.

The inclusion of an online leaderboard is fantastic!

I quite enjoyed this one.
Amazing work!

The comic is really nice!

The character controls feel a bit floaty, and the enemies are unforgiving, but its enjoyable.

The graphics are really good!

Just curious how many people worked on this ?
Great work!

Really difficult, but enjoyable. I suggest making the game so easy that it is boring for you the creator, at that point its probably the right difficulty for a game jam.

The concept is solid !

Good work for a jam !

The idea is solid, having to protect something makes it more interesting.

The pixel art is decent, i would personally make consistent outlines to improve the look.

The gameplay feels a bit unpolished,.

Considering this is your first game and we had only 2.5 days all the above is just nitpicking.
 Amazing work!

Thanks for the constructive feedback. To be honest the colours of the interactable objects were made in a rush 😅. Also the theme and objects are present in the story, but I ran out of time to integrate them more.

Thanks again for taking the time to play it !

Thanks, I was surprised how difficult it was to do the pixel art animations (first time doing them). Glad you enjoyed it !

Thanks a lot for playing !

Thanks! I used Gdevelop for the first time this jam and I can't recommend it enough. It allowed me to focus on game feel and mechanics! I'm so happy that you enjoyed my game 😄

I fell in love with the Logo, UI and artstyle at first sight.

I really like the use of angular shapes in the UI. The font choice is also excellent.

Had a great time playing, the only thing that is missing for me is some particle effects and general gameplay feedback, but considering the time frame and scope of the project it's understandable that this kind of minor polish is missing. But that is nitpicking, awesome job!

Basically yes.
there are two identical cameras being moved by the camera movement script.
One of the cameras is rendering the scene at low resolution and outputting a render texture
The other camera then renders only UI which is in this case the render texture.

Thanks, we like the concept as well and will make the game at least playable before moving on.

Thanks.

Thanks, I will be working on a first update the next weekend. I will make sure I add a restart button.

Thanks for the feedback, I kinda forgot about the restarting thing :D

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I will look into music and sound effects.
