Well done , really good game feeling and level design !

Very good feel to the game, feels professional and the sounds and music are really good. I especially like the screen transitions and camera shake effect when landing, good job

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing!
Glad you enjoyed it.

Snappy controls, fast paced, short and sweet, and fun! All the screen transitions and minor animations really puts the cherry on top to an already well made game.

Thanks a lot!

That was surprisingly well made!
Great, cohesive artstyle, cute music, short enough to not make me bored
The only con was that the spikes were not traditionally "dangerous" color - got me there on the trampoline level

But honestly, 5/5 execution, especially with the time limits.
Got me interested in actually trying Gdevelop seriously - it scared me how "makeshifty" it looked compared to its inspiration - construct

Developer

Thanks for playing!
I never used Construct or Gamemaker so i cant compare but i have used UE4, Unity and Godot.

For me its a night and day difference, there sure are some quirks with Gdevelop but the comunity is really active.
Plus the on-boarding is really interactive!

Oh, yeah, those titans you mentioned are very powerful for custom code, but I agree,  especially those visual editors work so much better for the jams and rapid prototyping of simple core mechanics

If you made this in 2.5 days absolutel props to you. The graphics were amazing, and the gameplay felt natural. All in all this felt like a finished game.

10/10 I usually leave a meme comment here but I honestly have nothing else to say just 10/10

Developer

Thanks! I used Gdevelop for the first time this jam and I can't recommend it enough. It allowed me to focus on game feel and mechanics! I'm so happy that you enjoyed my game 😄

The game feels really nice I like the animations and sounds

Developer

Thanks, I was surprised how difficult it was to do the pixel art animations (first time doing them). Glad you enjoyed it !

Oh for your first time they turned out absolutely great! Good job!

Quick and fun game. The color of the deadzone areas are a little strange. Red for blocks you can stand on while yellow for do not touch sometimes, unless it's kind of orange-ish yellow was a bit strange. I love that the player is colored until he runs out of jumps and then is drained of color. Very nice touch.

Overall fun game but not quite fitting of the theme and special object.

Developer

Thanks for the constructive feedback. To be honest the colours of the interactable objects were made in a rush 😅. Also the theme and objects are present in the story, but I ran out of time to integrate them more.

Thanks again for taking the time to play it !
