Lovely style, was super fun to use each of the families unique cards, they were a great addition. Felt that the bosses took a little too long to kill, but maybe that's down to me not being great at the game. Had a great time, well made :)

Very fun and visually striking game, everything felt like it came together to create a really fun experience. I unfortunitally could not beat many of the bosses but the way that that game shakes up each run allowed me to see a great more number of bosses than I originally would have. Congrats on the game :)
Love the visual style, fantastic looking game. Controls are good too and the body switching works great, I enjoyed trying to optimise my play by swithing to enemies that are out of detection range so I didnt have to fight them. I would say that the skeletons feel like they can't be killed by sword (but that may just be me not being good enough lol).
Excellent work, you could certainly expand on this concept if you wished, would be fun.
Aww yess, the Dragon is little cutie! Also we appreciate the feedback <3 We did play around with some ideas that could shorten the fights towards the end of the jam but decided to focus on point and click progression and face prediction. The world is certainly varied and wacky, it all just formed around the style and gameplay ideas we had for the bosses :)
Ah ! You are totally correct, seems there is no fail state text for that level which means you get stuck if you lose. Unfortunate for that to slip by and thanks for reporting. Appreciate that you enjoyed the game, each boss does have some for of point and click aspects to their level but we very much recognise that communicating that to the player was not great.
Beat normal mode with 151.14, very cool looking bosses and visual styl, the boss design is very unique. The bullet hell aspect and the chaos of it all was super neat too. Good sounds tracks, responsive movement, fun menus. Only some notes, just that Boss attacks can be hard to read sometimes and I could cheese a lot of the bosses by spamming click while spamming dash inside of them. Great game submission :)
Fun game, I struggled to keep most of my party alive but when I get down to just 2 people left I am much better at managing them haha. Realising I could select multiple characters at once was a game changer for me. I felt I couldn't spend much time grabbing the gold as surviving was difficult enough for me. I had fun, felt good taking down the big bad, you guys should be proud :)
I'm a sucker for melee games and the sword really hits the sweet spot for me. The incrementing damage worked well making the player balance their attacks, waiting longer to deal out stronger combos. Perhaps if you were to increment on this idea, giving the sword more weight or dealing more damage based on how fast the swing was or different damage types if it was a stab vs a swing... who knows, super good mechanic though.
The speed of the player was good for me, dashing felt good too with it's invincibility frames. Boss attacks seemed fair but perhaps lacks the speed like the commentors before me mention. I did appreciate the parts that I felt slow about the player I could upgrade with gold, like the energy metre and stamina.
Well made, visuals are great too :)
Really interesting concept, has my mind going all kinds of places with possibilities. What you've executed here is good, nice animation work for both the boss and player and the art style is really pleasing to me. I think the stun state is perhaps too long, the loss of control for that length of time before having to dodge the next attack felt a little but repetetive after happening a good number of times (perhaps I'm not very good though lol).
The added elements when progressing through boss stages is great, the arrival of the skeleton dudes gave me another dimension to think about.
I thought the controls worked well too, I didn't understand right click until I got the bosses health to 0, and the game helpfully reminded me to use it, which was fantastic. The tutorialisation was well executed on that front. You should be very proud of what you've made :)
Fun game! After reading the comments behind me I found out I could move after my first 4 attempts haha. Maybe putting the controls in the description could be good to prevent cases like me (although I probably should have tried to move lol).
I really liked it, I think given more time and some more progression features this could make a good full experience. Making them spawn in all the directions from the player could be good as I found I could keep them in a clump if I flew in a particular way
Once I got a hand of the drawing I really loved the gameplay. I would create floors as I ran across the room like it was a magic carpet and felt great. Moving the balls with the lines can feel a little tedious but it adds to the difficulty of it and wasnt a massive detractor for me.
The art style is really cute, loved the simple character spikes and doors. If it weren't from the description I would have been really confused by the sudden game over screen when I took too long to complete the game, maybe some ingame timer or hourglass could have been good, just some indication that my time is limited or coming to an end.
I got faster with every attempt and certainly could see this expanded on and polished.
The flying is nice and smooth and I enjoy the art on display, it's really clean and clearly has talent behind it. Like the itch page says, its a WIP and there isn't much gameplay there from what I can see. The only thing I can do is fly in the room with the dog heads and I cant seem to damage them. Maybe I am missing something, if so please let me know.
Took me a little while to realise I was hitting the small meteors, I thought I was missing them because they didnt reflect back like the big meteors. After I realised that I started my grind for a high score :D
I think there's quite some luck involved as well, as some meteors seem to hit while your attack is still on cooldown. This leads to some gameovers that feel unavoidable. Overall a fun experience :)
Hey, thank you for playing our game! The boulders were a very fun design to make and glad you enjoyed them :). That's quite a good suggestion for the grapple hook to make it more natural to use. There originally was another ability on right mouse that got cut for time, never occured to me to move the hook keybind after.
