First time i saw your game in the jam two things immediately popped up in my mind, Bloodborne and Gloomwood. I definitely had to play this game and i am glad i did.

First off, i like the aesthetics. You totally nailed the Victorian Era atmosphere and the fact that you created all the assets yourself makes it much impressive.  I break one star because i don't like the character's arms, they look weird. Idk maybe you designed the player as some kind of steampunk robot or something like that.

Boss design is pretty good aesthetically. The first boss reminded me of the pig enemies from Bloodborne. First boss glitches a lot. It's stuck on walls, it jumps  5 meters to the air or launches me into the air. But it was fun fighting it. You just dodge out of it's way and shoot basicly. Second boss is less glitchy but it has this attack where it shoots a blue projectile thing and you can't evade it. It looks like some kind of creepy puppet, i like it's visual design too.

Controls are fine. Sliding mechanic makes the game much more fun and dynamic. It works kinda like the dodge mechanic of Bloodborne.

The upgrade system is good but i didn't get how you trigger an upgrade screen. It's not a RPG game. Does it appear after a certain time or when you deal a certain amount of damage to the bosses?  In any case, it works well and fits the theme of the jam perfectly. Also adds more depth to combat. Only thing is, it pops up in the screen during battle and you can automatically click on any upgrade by mistake.

My final thoughts are, it's a very cool game. I can see that you wanted to add more content to the game but ran out of time before doing it. Game is good even in it's unfinished state. I liked it and had fun playing it. I wish you all the luck to make great games like this in the future!

I liked the way the character feels most of the time, but exchange mechanics of blood and bullets are really not that responsive in gameplay, also the popups with buffs everytime you want to shoot the boss... The artwork feels a little rushed, but it's understandable in данный time period.

The game definitely has potential and certain aethetic, keep up the good work!

The game looks good, and plays quite well. I had trouble with the sensitivity of my mouse, took some getting used to. Well done!

Great shooting mechanics and pretty visuals, booba is too hard to beat. Also I flew up in the sky, landed on the roof and the game broke.

This was one of the games I enjoyed the most. The controls are snappy and almost perfect. I would make the sprint speed the default speed since you already have a dash I feel like the sprint is redundant and not very useful. Both boss fights were entertaining, especially the second one, with a variety of attacks and behaviours. The vampire survivor style mechanic is really fitting and addictive. I can tell this was made with a lot of passion. With a little bit more content would be ready for prime time, and sell as a commercial product. Great job!

Good 3d visual and nice shooting system. Well done

Had a blast, tried to make every shot a headshot haha. I loved Boobo the Demon, he was cute. I always picked the sliding upgrade when I could because I love a good slide mechanic. I completed both bosses and seen the end message, you should be definitley be proud of this :)

Thanks glad you liked it!

I really liked the boss design and gameplay. It turned out to be a good shooter, but it would be worth taking simpler textures, fps jumps a lot

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and you're right I think I also left the default texture size in substance painter to 2048 x 2048

Developer

Thanks playing and happy to know the upgrades system was fun.

The bosses have a bit too much health in my opinion, making the fights drag on for too long. I think you could make the sensibility go a bit higher and I also like the retro style. Sounds and music didn't really blow me away but the use of the theme is amazing. Your hp being the exchange was a good idea.

Developer

Happy to know that you liked the style and yes sound overall is meh. I just put most of it in the last 2 days

Game looks good, is a little quiet, but having a crouch on control and sprint on shift makes the game pretty tough to control...
Feedbacks are good though, and the upgrade system is pretty fun !

Game was pretty hard for me !
