Here's your hint for getting The Doise's skin: n frperg jvguva n frperg (use rot13.com to decode this)

Weird. I'll need some more info so I can troubleshoot:

Are you playing the browser build or the Windows build?

If you're playing the browser build, what browser are you using? Works fine for me on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (tested all three just now)

If you're playing the Windows build, are you playing it on Windows or are you emulating it via third-party software (e.g. WINE) on Mac or Linux?

I'm pretty surprised that my game (Storm Shelter) scored #32 in Innovation and #35 in Fun.

GGs, everyone! Congrats to not only the winners but also everyone who participated and made a game in just one week!

(Sorry for such a big image)

Your game is well-rounded on all areas! Pretty good stuff!

Rated. Insane stuff you've got there mate

Pretty unique retailer simulator! Realized how skill issued I am at basic, real-life math (I tried playing without the change counter). The crayon characters surprisingly mesh well with the pixel art (probably because both styles look decent). A lot of attention to detail went into SFX too; it adds to the experience.

Only issue is that there's nothing that tells the player that the 1 and 2 cent coins are actually 1 and 2 Euro coins (I'm American).

alright but you might be a bit late at this point as voting ends in like 4 hours

Pretty unique story game. Managing five personas at once isn't something I'd expect to see in a game jam like this! UI could use some work though.

Pretty good top-down shooter. Like the uniqueness of the storm giving the player a random effect. Graphics could use some work though.

Decent physics-based stacking game. Game was too difficult though; the tutorial didn't explain how to move the cat up (you had to drag him...for some reason). Also the storm phase was WAY too difficult; my cat died on the 2nd storm phase.

Pretty good top-down shooter. Upgrades kept me hooked.

Some criticism:

  • Not much enemy progression besides some boats with more HP
  • UI could use some work

Lack of ceiling enemies was a common critique; if I make a postjam version, more ceiling enemies will be added.

Thanks for playing!

Rated. Very unique game

Very entertaining and unique game! I made the infamous mayonnaise sandwich and tried to serve that; what a terrible idea lmao

Some criticism:

  • There should be a clearer indicator ingame that shows you're going to throw your food out the window
  • Non-pixel art food truck looks a little off in the pixel art town
  • Main menu music is kinda annoying. Thank God it's just the main menu music

Pretty engaging timed escape-room-like! Voice acting added to the sci-fi feel and the puzzles got me thinking.

Some criticism:

  • No hint that you have to grab the medkits in the medical room
  • Some of the rooms feel empty and some of the walls feel plain, but that's understandable given that this is a game jam game.

The graphics and the sound added to the horror holy shoot. Managed to get startled when I died in the third level despite the lack of a jumpscare. Maybe being booted to the title screen is the jumpscare lol

Yeah the lack of ceiling enemies was a common critique and would definitely be addressed if I made a postjam version. The first (and only) ceiling enemy shows up in Wave 15 btw.

Thanks for playing!

I managed to survive even though two of my planes were down lol. Very interesting and unique game you've got there! You've also got good graphics (especially the psychedelic bg that reminds me of one of Sonic CD's special stages), unique and engaging gameplay, and simple audio design.

Pretty interesting game you got there! Playing right now, will rate soon

WAVE 30??? You're probably the person who made it the farthest in Storm Shelter (I only made it to Wave 24).

Good job and thanks for playing!

Astounding graphics and good idea with walljumping, but the controls felt too janky. I'd frequently miss where I'm aiming.

Yeah I probably should've picked a less bright pink for the game over screen. Or was it the font that didn't fit with the rest of the game?
Also, would you mind describing the audio level issue? I haven't noticed anything out-of-the-ordinary with audio on both my game and other Godot games.

Thanks for playing!

I'm not a big fan of the cutscene showing the level and the saw being right in my face by the time the cutscene was done with little time to react. There also should've been a controls list somewhere in the game. The death sounds were amusing though.

Hardest thing for me was focusing lol. I just get distracted somewhat easily.

I managed to make a surprisingly decent game within the timeframe though
