Six months later I’ve tried this and NSIS is great! Also did a program in Zig so I could cross-compile for windows very easily. NSIS did the job really well. I’m really happy with this. Thank you!

I agree! I didn’t have time for more :) Thank you!

:)

Oh dude! I have this available in Guix too! I have to give it a go.

The main problem I have with windows is it’s hard for me to test, so even if I use some kind of installer tool I have no chance to test it properly so I can’t send it to my clients directly… It’s kind of an issue, but this looks really promising. I may write a new post with my findings soonish, and I’ll include this one along with a review of my experience with Kawa. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It’s greatly appreciated!

Children are the best when it comes to ideas. Congratulate them in my behalf :)

Thank you!

:) Glad you liked it

Making reasonable flowers was kinda tricky but some of you told me the flowers you get reminded you of something so I’m happy with that. Thanks!

thank you! Yeah, also it would be nice to be able to regenerate a flower from the genes… You can always take a screenshot :)

I love the music!

I agree! I did it too fast and I didn’t have time for much more. It could be nice have a way to choose the flowers you prefer and collect them, or even make a big diverse garden and see how it evolved.

Next time maybe!

I didn’t know this one! I’ll play it!

I have to read that one! I made the terminal output for debugging and I thought it was a good idea to keep it as part of the game. A friend of mine played trying to max the red component of the flowers and stuff like that LOL thank you!

It’s really creative and happens to be very addictive! It’s really difficult! Good job.

leap of faith!!!

It’s a little bit buggy for me… I didn’t manage to kill the first guy!

It’s superweird to play but I like it!

I like the fact that you have to restore the color in the map. It’s a solid game!

Really cool presentation. Hope to see the game grow in the future!

This is really cool!

Everything is cool… I’m good at being a sandpiper…

It’s also funny to see how most of the people taking part in the jam had similar experiences haha

Yes, I’m getting better, the game intended to be a little bit of a reminder for myself and way to tell people to stop treating themselves like this. :)

Now I’m well enough to realize how bad I was treating myself. The struggle continues. Take care!

(1 edit)

Yeah… It’s a little bit of how I treated myself during the last 6-7 years. Now I’m learning to do better I think.

Thanks for the comment!

It opened in floating but it was covered the same way. Moving to the full screen does not show message, it increases the blank space instead!

I tried resizing the window and the position was consistent.

:(

thanks for playing :D

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing!

super addictive! Have to be replayed to start thinking about strategies. Good job!

Sadly I can’t play it because the instructions appear out of the screen regardless of the size of it. I replaced the instruction’s position with 150 instead of 10 to be able to play.

It’s a good idea, but it’s really hard for me to play! Good job!

Thanks for the comment!

I thought it was going to work in guile2 but a friend just told me it doesn’t!

Thanks for the proposed fix!

BTW: Looks like it doesn’t work with Guile2. Try Guile3

You can’t win if you are fighting against yourself. Glad it hit close to home, it was what I tried to achieve. :)

Thanks for the comment.
