Like the sketchy art style -- and a pretty big world sketched with it!

Fun concept. I really liked the artwork for the bunnies, the trees, and fences especially.

I liked the music, but it seemed a bit fast paced for this game

It would be very cute if your bunny buddies played with each other or if you could play with them after befriending them.

Wow. Really cool and complete! I managed to best Ben in the end. :)

I like the graphics quite a bit. The game logic/UX was kinda confusing though:

  • Click and drag movement was swapped. If I point to where I want to go and drag into the opposite direction, it ends up going where I want. I'd expect pointing away from the player sprite and dragging into the direction I want to go to specify both angle and force.
  • Why would rabbits eat bone-shaped food? I thought they're vegetarians...
  • It took me quite a bit to understand they played fetch with what looked like pokeballs (which I'd expect to capture them)

Thanks for the feedback!

Many of the UI decisions were made / developed when the game was headed in a different direction.

The game started out as a safari zone action game with carnivorous battlin bunnies who you lured out of their holes with food and slingshot with rocks as they weaved and doged around the player before you finally slowed them down enough for catching in a pokeball.

The bunnies came out too cute and the game felt way to cruel. So, I pivoted to a walking simulator, where you play fetch with rabbits.

YES! I befriended all the bunnies! Lovely little game. The click+drag movement for throwing things moved the opposite of what is intuitive to me, which I guess is like how some people want swiping down to scroll down and others want it scroll up. I made it work, though. :)

A very nice game with an additional challenge to befriend them all without crouching :D

The no crouch challenge +10 bunny buddie points

I was left wanting more bunnies to befriend! Cute and fun.

I like the art direction!  The goofy feel of the game matches the art style and the dialogues.  Very well executed!  Great work!

I didn't know I wanted to befriend rabbits er bunnies. But apparently it is so. Nice presentation and interesting concept.

This is really cool!

Really cute, I’ve enjoyed it (even though haven’t got the controls the first time πŸ˜…)

What a fun to play with this game!

It's just too hard to be friend with any bunny using a touch-pad.

I agree, I couldn't manage to get the first bunny to react to anything I did.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for giving it a go! If you guys are using a trackpad and can’t press shift to crouch and throw at the same time, wait until the rabbit hides in its hole, throw 2 - 3 bones around the hole, then crouch in the grass and wait for the rabbit to come up. Repeat this 2 - 3 times. All other rabbits you should be able to outdistance their detection range with your throw.

I web version failed my browser with

> DOMException: The operation is insecure.

Maybe it's some of my browser extensions.

But the desktop version worked fine.

Developer

Thanks for trying the desktop version :) I know the online version doesn’t work with the Brave Browser, it may also be another extension. The version of emscription its using is ancient.

Funny little game. I love how all the bunnies have unique drawings to give them more personality! Take that, Ben :P
