I'm surprised to see nobody here is praising you for the awesome cube rolling tutorial you made.
Also I'm definitely saving the game for when I have a windows machine on hand.
Thank you very much for the detailed feedback, most of the bugs are caused by the auto-rotation algorithm, that I've spent too much time on figuring out, and probably shouldn't've bothered about at all, as it sometimes makes the majority of correct moves for you and sometimes just breaks :)
I will most likely go with manual rotation in the future to rule those bugs out and make the process more interactive.
Thanks for playing!
What you said really means a lot to me. Just one comment of such nature makes all the difference. This actually brought tears to my eyes, wow!
It may remind you of Townscaper or such, cuz I've spent dozens of hours in Dorfromantik and always wanted to create something as beautiful in its simplicity.
Thank you! Auto rotation is sometimes fiddly, I probably should've gone with manual rotation on all axes, not just one, and I also planned to add an option to rotate them after they're placed. The objective is probably less obvious due to the game allowing you to complete the structure even if not all dice match perfectly and I think I should leave it as is, but encourage a perfect finish.
Nice skill-testing idea, where every kind of player can choose his fighting style.
I had a more tank-like strategy, where I sacrificed speed and damage for health and ammo, but a more skilled player easily could've rushed through the map one-shoting everyone.
Also a nice handful of levels put together in such limited time!
Thank you! Nothing says "I have 5 minutes left and I need to make this look pretty" like some Bloom and Vignette :)
Having all the dice to connect was the initial idea, but maybe it should just be score-based, depending on sides that do connect, when the cube is complete.
Thank you for trying it out!
