I really liked the game visually. Most 3d games just look generic as it is harder to do your own style in 3d. The 3d also benefited the game as you could see a bit of the other sides of the die. Many other games had the problem where you don't know which side the number you're looking for is on. The neon look really fit the game well. The game play of matching your enemies was quite unique as i did not see this within the over 90 games I've played. What I have to say that in my opinion there where so particle effects missing for the enemies disappearing. Also I would recommend not compressing as rar because you need 7zip or WinRar for that. Maybe also try supplying builds for other platforms if you have the time to. A Webbuild would be great but I don't know if Unreal lets you do that.
Really cool and fun game idea! The way you have to pay attention both to moving the die to the right number and avoiding the dice and holes is really clever, and I like that the dice are color-coded instead of just having the numbers on them. The game is pretty easy.
It's a simple but fun idea
To be honest, there's no downside to this game except for the capacity
Clever and simple concept, and great execution! Very refreshing to see bright colored dice instead of the more traditional black and white ones. Really enjoyed playing, though I agree with the other comments about difficulty (probably a bit hard to balance in 48 hours...).
Cool concept and nice visuals. Its basically like guitar hero with dice on a board. I feel that the healing makes it a bit too easy tho. With making a mistake being the only way to "damage", if you stay calm and watch your steps you can play indefinitely (not that i did, lol) but maybe that's the intention?
Mark (GMTK) also played it in his stream on Wednesday and seemed to really enjoy it, just in case you missed it.
Overall a great entry, good job.
Cool concept although it does get boring after while. I got 3444 I think. I would enjoy seeing updates!
Very enjoyable and the concept implementation is really great. Awesome game!
Fun idea! I definitely think that the difficulty should ramp up faster, but this was well executed for a 48 hour jam.
Very nice execution of the idea. Made me want to chase a high score! I did feel like the difficulty could have ramped up quicker as when I had the hang of it it was possible to more or less clear the screen. Maybe there could be some dice which are unkillable or heal you to mix things up
Great job
Thank you for the feedback!
The entertainment value of the game is very high. This should have more ratings!
Thank you for kind words) Thanks for playing, also enjoied your game)
I really liked the idea! Got a 1895 score. The music is very nice, though it takes a while to get challenging. Maybe ramping a bit the block speeds or amount generated, or perhaps making each one that you don't destroy take a slight bit of your health. I got away sometimes with just escaping from the blocks.
Anyway, those are just ideas, the game already works very well by itself, congratulations!
Yup, thought about similar things) Also there are variables that controls speed of floor falling, speed of each enemy sawned and the speed of spawn, but there is no difficulty control, so there is +- the same parameters for all game (they alter a little, but it's almost not noticable)
Thanks for playing)
Love the game! Concise concept with very good execution! Great instructions, which is important for a GameJam!
Great concept, and the music fits well the game ! It could be harder, we gain life too easily !
Thank you) I was thinking about losing HP if you didn't kill the enemy cube and it managed to trawel to the other side of the map)
Pretty neat game! A very classic feeling entry.
Thanks!
Easy to understand, but it can get quite hard. Design is simple, music is nice. I would like to see some interesting sounds maybe.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback)
I love visuals.Good job!
by the way could you play and rate my game?
Thank you!
Yup, played it)
This is a really cool concept. With a bit more refinement and variation I could see this becoming a fully fleshed out game!
Thank you so much! For the feedback and playing)
