The best entry I played so far in terms of graphics! The approach to the theme is also great!

I was not able to split the wolves in a way that would actually help, but I imagine it is possible to do it. Most of the time I was running with all 3 wolves together.

Great work!

Pretty funny one, I really enjoyed playing it!
It also brings me memories of my own childhood hahaha

Great game!

The idea is really creative!

And I like the mechanic of controlling the dino neck.

The controls a bit clunky, tho. Maybe they could be more responsive/fast.

Great game!

This is really interesting! My favorite game so far, especially because it avoids the obvious solutions for the theme.

I manage to create the letter E (I just I forgot to centralize it hahaha)

I like the twist on the original Pong. I think game jams are the perfect moment to try these different approaches. Nice game ^^

I really like the space theme and the nerdy references like the double pendulum hahaha

Pretty nice game =)

The enemies shoot with a frequency so high that you can barely stay in front of them to shoot back. This could be solved by making the enemies move faster horizontally, or by giving them shooting patterns (a bust or the consecutive shots, that a longer delay, for example), or by making you evade the enemies themselves, instead of their bullets (for that, you would need to make them more mobile, and probably with different moving patterns).

Anyway, the art is pretty good. Nice job

Great game, specially the aesthetics.

The mechanics of grabbing and punching are interesting, but I think the game could provide more situations to use them in different ways. I say that because now it seems to me that there are only one way to go about the enemies: grab them and punch them.

The best way I can think of to achieve that would be making the enemies only attack you when they can see you. This way you could choose to go stealth about it in some situations. I understand that maybe this is not the idea for this game, since the theme of the game jam is "chaos", but I'm already trying to go slowly anyway, since you can reach enemies before entering their shooting range (so you are not rewarded for going fast).

Great game anyway!

The idea is really cool, and I would like to see the concept expanded.

But I think the way it is now is really hard to understand whats going on. For example, I wasn't able to use the planet's configuration to infer how to better play each level. I ended up always gravitating around the center of mass of all planets, instead of going from one orbit to another (which I think would be much more interested).

Maybe it's just a matter of scale. It could work better if planets were smaller and further apart, and the ship moved slower.  Maybe and initial velocity to the ship (making it stat already orbiting a planet or something like that) would be interesting too.

Anyway, just some ideas, I don't know if it would actually work well.

Nice job!

I was so focused on the aesthetics that I didn't have much time to create good level design and explain things hahaha

But the objective is just to reach that "eye" thing.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for your feedback!

The short term objective is just to reach the "eye". Unfortunately, I only had time to make two levels, but I'll add more later.

Thanks! =D

Exactly! =D

Glad you like it ^^

Hey man!

I'm glad you like it =D

And thank you so much for your feedback!

It's an experience, not necessarily a game.

You don't  =P

You have a limited budget. But it's possible to sell things you already bought.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for your feedback! I took it into consideration and uploaded a new version of the game. Now the character will keep going as long as the arrow keys are pressed

;D

Nice game! I have just some suggestions to make the gameplay feel more fluid:

- Increase the range of the attack. Now, it's hard to get close enough to the enemies without touching them.
- Automatically moving X pixels forward when attacking (feels more powerful)
- Don't get hurt by stunned enemies.
- Feels unfair when the bullets pass through the walls.

I tried a lot of times, but I was not able to finish the game =P

That's a good one! I'm working on a new version of the game that enables you to close your umbrella (plus enemies and other small improvements). When the voting is over, I'll upload this new version. Thanks for your feedback!

Good idea! Thanks a lot ;D

(1 edit)

Thanks for your feedback!

I agree with you. In my original idea there would be different levels (with start and end), enemies, obstacles, and wind flows with different directions. But I had only 8 hours to work on this game, so... maybe in a future update =D

The idea is good =D

I found it hard make the movements in the right timing (the direction was frequently postpone to the next tile).

This is the kind of puzzle I like! Really good.

However, the boats not always slide one tile. Sometimes they slide out of the level. I don't know if that's a bug or a feature that I didn't understand =P

Great!! Simple and challenging! One of my favorites of this jam.
The ""start button"" teaches how to move (clever ;D), but it took me a while to understand how to kill the enemies.

Pretty interesting. It was very hard at the beginning, but once you learn to coordinate the movement and the dash, it becomes easier.

The concept is really interesting.
It's a little bit frustrating to jump so low (or have to charge to jump higher), tho. But I understand it's part of the idea.

Good job.

This game is so beautiful! *______*
However, I found it a little bit poor in terms of innovative mechanics.

Pretty good. The puzzles are well made, and the lest level took me a while to figure out.

Great game! It feels like Super Metroid to me =D
