You can have more than four guns at a time, modules on the hub become guns when they have two open sides (though admittedly a better tutorial is sorely needed) Thanks for the feedback!
This is actually a pretty common suggestion, though I don't want to print letters directly on the hub (as that would detract from the minimalism), perhaps I'll think of another way to do this post-jam
Yeah yeah I made a shoot-to-move game hahaha. Though it is slightly different as you have multiple, configurable cannons that are shot in sets, rather than a single gun.
Good entry, though the controls were a little fiddly. Sometimes I couldn't pick up branches and sometimes I could, not sure if that was intentional or not.
I probably won't change how the player moves, as it's pretty core to the game. However, re-balancing enemy spawns is definitely a possibility. You actually have a lot of control over your ship after you get used to it, though there's a learning curve to it.
Really good game, though it was a little slow-paced. I think that you should automatically proceed to the next floor upon killing all the enemies, which would prevent the player from just camping a level to open every crate and pot.
A tower defense game where you're a turret, awesome idea! I think that more, weaker enemies could give the player a sense of power and juice that the game was currently lacking. This has a lot of potential for you to add screen-shake, particle effects, and post-processing to really make it pop.
