It was fun playing your game! I liked how the power-ups work in your game. It's great that the sprite in the character changes depending on the chosen thing.
As for the story, it caused me confusion. I don't want to say that it's bad, but in my opinion it's very indirectly related to the game. Because of this, it feels out of place for me.
By the way, it made me smile that our games are similar in the main idea that you deliberately complicate the passage of the level. It was interesting to see how the same idea was done in different ways.
The game has a nice visual style, although simple. The big box, in my opinion, is a little out of the general style and probably could be replaced :D
Regarding the power-ups, I liked their implementation. The only problem is as if the game wouldn't have suffered at all if they weren't there and the ability was given at the beginning of the level. Simply put, they only work as abilities. It's great that each level has its own unique power-up, but maybe it would be cool to make them even more strange and diverse.
Personally, I had problems playing the browser version. It's great that they got fixed during installation.
It will be great to see the follow-up work on the game after the jam! It has potential.
I was able to play, hooray! Well, I liked the way the game is drawn. The characters look good. There is something attractive about them.
I have some remarks. I was a little confused at the beginning of the game. We wake up in bed and the game does not explain to us at least approximately who we are and why we are here. It may be worth considering how this can be changed. In addition, it is probably possible to somehow make the paverapes a more significant part of the game, it would be great.
It's great that you also wrote the walkthrough and posted it. It helped me in some places.
Nice job. It would be great if the power-up had a cool down. Now it can only be applied 1 time, which, in my opinion, isn't a good solution. And I didn't quite understand the solution with the combat system. Now you need to click a lot of times and keep your distance. Perhaps it would be great to diversify the player's capabilities. Looking forward to what you'll do next!
Well, the sprites and the level are drawn nicely. Alas, I couldn't get to 2 locations. For some reason, nothing happens to me and the camera does not change its position. I couldn't figure out if there are any power-ups in this game at all. Maybe I couldn't reach them.
Also, for some reason, I see more than I need on my 2k monitor. It will be great if you find an opportunity to adapt your game to other resolutions.
And, by the way, it's fun that the application is called in Cyrillic xD
It's a cool and well-polished game! It's strange that there are still no ratings here. The only thing, and it's literally the only thing, I have a problem with, is that there aren't any crazy power-ups, which is why the game doesn't really fit the theme of the jam. Anyway, it's a good job. I had fun playing it.
When I sent a comment, I remembered 1 more of my point: it's better to make short simple games browser-based, just because it's trite more convenient for the player. It will be great if the game develops in the future and a browser version appears.
Thanks for playing the game!
Well, it's a very strange problem with the endscreen. When we tested the game on another device, our friend encountered the same problem. To fix it, you have to clear the cache on your device or try it in another browser. The problem must be solved. We're not sure what causes it, but it depends on your browser.
Regarding the buttons at the beginning, the paw in the middle does nothing but make some kind of sound and is inserted just for fun. The neighboring ones should turn on/off the SFX and music. Now, I think they don't work, we'll fix them after the jam. Thank you for reporting this
Thanks you for playing this game! Yeah, strange power-ups are only enemy upgrades. We liked the concept that we improve the enemies exactly the way we want.
Basically, the higher the level, the stranger the enemy. At least, that's the idea. This does not mean that he is getting stronger in any way xD
Thank you for playing the game and reporting the bug! We want to finish the game and fix the problems after the jam, so this is really very useful information. As a temporary solution, I recommend restarting the game in similar situations. This, of course, will reset the progress, but it will definitely fix the problem. Some power ups (usually blue ones) periodically behave unpredictably, and they can cause this problem.
Indeed now we're rat buddies xD
Thanks for playing our game and for letting us know about the issue!! Yeah, it could be a bit buggy. We messed up a bit with the timing and didn't have enough time to finish everything by the deadline. :D
We're planning to finish the game eventually after the jam, so we'll try to sort everything out and make it even better!
