incredible, very cinematic and well orchestrated! i loved how patient and well paced you were with all of the themes, you did an excellent job of capturing the mood for reading about a vengeful chinese creature!! awesome work! :>

a deceptively simple sounding shuffle - v nice writing there!! it gives the tune a lot of character, and it feels right at home with the rest of the earthbound mood. the active percussion complemented the easy going melodies well and it's enjoyable in both passive and actively listening to it. v nice v nice v nice :>

what a fun tune! v fitting to the theme, hearing the melody thrown around between the parts and departing into new sections was really interesting and the second half has a zaniness to it that vibes well with earthbound in particular. very interesting form, the return feels familiar and smooth even with the contrast in the later sections. good work!!

you hit the nail on the head with your chord progression and choice in sounds! the tune had nice variations and development, and the balance and playing both feel like good light hearted fun :>

there was smth in my ear where i wanted to hear the progression switched to another part or a small vocal group doing 'ooo's or 'daaa's, maybe a little variety there somewhere?

great track, good job!

great track, good job!

v v serene aisle surfing music, i can easily imagine this being played in a shop virtually anywhere.  i did wonder what the track also might sound like w more or less broader staging or stereo imaging, but the guitar balance is nice and the layers do sound like they're working together smoothly and it does make the melody pop. i like it overall v nicely!

mmm such warm and fuzzy textures... the mood and feel would make this one an great contender for a shopping theme! i will mention that the mix is a little heavy on the bottom end w the noise, and the keys do sound a little muddy. the effect works really well when you have the sfx of the bustle and people checking out, but the lack of brightness and clarity in the chords made a bit difficult to track the harmony. good work!

oooh, good ear picking up on the ragtime feel - i noticed that too! you have a really interesting take on it that feels a lot more laid back and whimsical with the instrumentation and interplay of the parts, i like it a lot! the minor counterparts to the theme were also tucked in beautifully into the development w.o overstaying its welcome. nice job!!

solid solid groove, mean mean swing!! this is a really catchy reimagining of the earthbound shop theme w.o departing too far from the things that make earthbound sound like earthbound. the voices in the background was a nice touch in the texture and gave everything a noticeable sense of linearity without breaking up the feeling of it being a loop too! excellent work :>>

the groove is really cute, it would be v easy to hum and whistle it away during a retail shift! lolol

good choices in sound and instruments, the light hearted tone is really nice. there are a lot of strong repetitive elements in the groove and i like how they return constantly and build the groove too, but it also made me wonder how much anything else would've stood out - and how more repetition would also completely affect the pace - either of which could be interesting or fun to explore, possibly? great piece overall, i like it a lot - i can definitely hear the earthbound influence and it's fitting in its own cute way!

the drum and the bass line are a v strong vibe and i'm v happy that they are given exceptional attention throughout the tune - v different than what i expected but pleasantly and satisfyingly so. the harmonies and melody felt a little thin in consideration of how short and sudden they're introduced, but i also kinda liked that they also felt in the background as complements the rest of the vibe of the piece overall. really neat work, it makes me want to hear a longer version or a whole ost!

lovely cadences, they each made me melttt. the instrumentation and texture works well stylistically (good job on researching and importing :> ) - but i noticed i could hear a little stereo image in the mix and it made me wonder if a) you went full retro and made the whole texture monophonic and maybe played with how it all sits together or b) spread and staged it all out, a little panning, diffusing, and any other way of coloring and enriching the mix to distinguish it altogether? excellent mood and harmonies with the tune, feels respective to the feel of casually shopping between the turn based grind and earthbound's general atmosphere!

the groove and quirkiness of the track does fit the earthbound theme and ost well, i'm a big fan of the funky phrasing and melodic lines. the use of space is also well done, but i also wondered how it would feel w some kind of drums or percussive element to fill out that depth? i know musescore is funky about percussion but a little here and there might've also helped balance the use of space! you're in the right ballpark w your ideas and how you're playing w them for sure, keep it up!!

the orchestration and arrangement is really, really, really good - i really like wondering what the rest of the earthbound ost reimagined through your stylistic lens would sound like! the themes and high energy with the dynamics and fills did give it an inspiring and thrilling kick, but it did sound like battle music a lot of the time too. overall very fun, i would now like to purchase a bat

the sounds and instruments you're working with are on point, and the vibe does capture the funky and weird earthbound feel - some more percussion to go with the changes could give the texture a lot more depth, or just letting it rest sometimes entirely too

there's a lot of good things happening here, the horns and bassline and the bridge and the big wow - i enjoyed listening to this one a few times

the harmonies throughout the entire jam have a lot of spice and variety, lots of really good chords and harmonic motion - and that blues vamp is a real ear worm toooo

oh my god the development and form is really nice - this would go j as well in a kitchen as a shop bc u are really cooking smth here, all the parts have a lot of attention put into the variations and how they flow within the texture :ooo

v fun sounding instruments and melody! the layers work together nicely and accomplish the mood and context you've described for the music :> love the break into the counter melody too, that was awesome
