Great work! Kudos!

So I started to write a simple engine for the Apple II in BASIC and I'm happy to already share something working! (opens a web page with Apple II emulator)

I'll be keeping my progress on Github for anyone interested! Discussions on Reddit are welcome!

Thank you for playing my game! The tutorial is quite laconic indeed - the game was initially made for a code golfing competition and every bit of text added to the total file size dramatically. So there is room for improvement and refinement now when not restricted in file size any more.

Thank you! Actually the whole game is 15kb (zipped) right now - it has some additional scripts turning the game into a progressive web app, but it is not working as intended on itch though - the game was supposed to work offline.

Interesting simulation. I'm not sure if I understood the game properly, but still managed to win. Basically I was picking the mutation matching the color of the species I had the least of at the moment. Towards the end I noticed that the last few choices had me choosing between the same two things: heart / heart and exchange / exchange.

Thank you!

Were there any cool Apple II entries during the years? Want to try them.

At first I was confused of when and how I'm supposed to move my troops. Eventually I found out, but I kept skipping to maneuver them every now and then, somehow I kept thinking there are 3 different phases: summon, move and attack. I also found it hard to distinguish between my own and the opponent's units, let alone distinguish which units' been moved so far in the round and which not. Now if there were three phases, you could decrease the size of the cards to allow more space for the  vertically layout battlefield especially in landscape mode. It will be good to have some kind of auto battle to allow me to play a card game without too much troop micro-management. Scrolling with the mouse will be good too. Nice game overall.

I love puzzles like this. Currently the game mechanic with the arrow is interesting but it have be tested with more complex stages to ensure that combos and chaining is possible - it is interesting to explore by itself. More cool and unique mechanics would be required if you consider releasing. I don't mind the minimalistic aspect but please definitely add color. Good luck!

Stunning visuals! The background parallax is so mesmerizing :)

Outstanding job on creating a whole game by yourself Jurrga!

Had similar idea in LD#24 - Glad to see a game alike created  :) Congratulations and Good Luck!

Was capable only for visual demo in 2012-Evolution but it was worth a seed ;)
