i purchased your other side-view 2d asset pack and was excited to see you're doing a topdown/isometric one! 

I'd personally see some use out of:

- hurt animation

- death animation

- block(??)

- sword (horizontal swipe + vertical swipe... or like a combo?? dunno)

i'll be keeping my eye out for updates! :)

Do you have anywhere for people to suggest specific animations? Or are you just monitoring the comments to see what people are asking for?

(I think some sort of space dedicated to suggestions might be a good idea haha)

Reminds me of the artstyle that a lot of old ".io" games used lol

I would've liked the ability to get more guys as going up against 6 other enemies felt pretty unfair haha

Cool idea and presentation! The main suggestions that I have are just related to the controls :)

- same button for switching between light and dark mode

- allow for the up arrow/w key to be used as jump (as well as spacebar)

Like everyone else has said, I like the difficulty curve ! 

The wall jumping was a bit funky, from what I can gather there seems to be two different ways that people do wall jumping;

- hold the direction of the wall when trying to wall jump (what you've programmed)

- hold the direction opposite of the wall when trying to wall jump (this is what I intuitively do)

Different people intuitively seem to choose one of the two methods and its not a bad idea to try and accommodate both (though one is also more difficult to program than the other)

The platforming was nice tho! :)

Cute game ! Got to level 100+ and then misclicked haha.. don't think my score saved though rip

I'd probably recommend some sort of difficulty progression for the game; eg. more fruits in total on average over time, a third type of fruit being introduced, the time to do each level getting marginally shorter over time, etc

I could see this game being something people try to speedrun/ see how quickly they can do each level haha

Doesn't seem like there's a download link or way to play the game in-browser unfortunately?

First person horror pacman game, interesting! Possibly adding some sort of minimap would help to prevent you from getting too confused, as in the original Pacman you could see the entire game at once

I don't really know how it fits the game jam theme though

The idea of throwing your gun around the corner to shoot at enemies is so cool and has so much potential! With a bit of polish and variation at enemies (maybe a less-common enemy that can also throw its gun?) it would turn out to be a really solid game !!

Fun game! Unfortunately the sword didn't feel as powerful as the shotgun and I switched back to the shotgun as soon as I could haha

I like this! Feels like a mobile game that I would waste time on haha,, or like someone else said, feels like a Mario party / wario-ware game

This game was fantastic! Definitely my favourite game that I've rated so far.. Initially pulling the lever after planting some seeds and watching the sky go dark instilled a sense of dread.. and I wasn't sure why until I turned around to see an onion coming after me !

One of my friends said "would be cool if it had the building style of something like Orcs Must Die, with gridbased pathfinding so the traps work better". I haven't played that game so I'm not sure if I agree with him, but I thought I'd pass on his feedback (he also enjoyed it)

Had a lot of fun with it and I would definitely buy a full game based on this haha

I like the main character model, looks really cool

Working more on the UI and the enemy hitboxes would probably go a long way in terms of polish and help smooth out any rough edges

I did most of the art for the game and finding out last-minute that we were going to implement another enemy (the big guy) definitely made me sweat. I wanted to polish and colour the animations for everything but we didn't have time rip

We are planning to work on it again in the new-year so that would include finishing off all those animations.. 👀

As with other feedback, I was a little bit overwhelmed with all of the UI and instructions, but I definitely enjoyed it and was interested in what was going on in the game ! 

I am amazed by the polish on the art (especially rolling the dice!) haha
