How does your game represent Mode?
The statistical mode is the value that appears most often in a dataset (but you knew that). The goal of this game is to identify the object that appears most often in a box of similar objects. A little on the nose, but here we are!

I liked how many different modes there were to choose from to play the game.
The game is very polished, with fun music and a nice and clean UI that felt responsive. The gameplay is fun and charming, and is more addictive than I would've expected. I could see this being a fun and addictive mobile game, especially on extra spicy mode. Great job!
Thanks very much! If you're an android user feel free to grab the APK for your phone, I actually play this one occasionally myself lol. Thanks for checking it out and for the kind words!
Very charming and polished little mini game. Makes me think of Mario Party. This is the kind of game you can get addicted to before ya know it.
Hey thanks! Feel free to get addicted, there are no microtransactions or predatory data mining practices! lol.
This was quite fun. I loved the categories of the compared objects. It would be fun to see more difficulties added the longer you play. For example, maybe the amount of each object in the box increases significantly, or the choices the player has goes up to nine.
Also, I tried it out on an Android device in addition to a desktop. It worked, but I couldn't interact with the box.
Nice work!
Thanks for checking it out! For the Android build, it was my first time implementing tilt controls so perhaps they weren't the right sensitivity for it to be intuitive! Plus I didn't think most folks would try it so I prioritized desktop in the in-game instructions. Good feedback, thanks!
I really enjoyed the art of the game and its playful style. It reminded me a lot of the mini games in Pokemon Stadium.
Hey thanks very much! There are certainly worse things to be compared to lol. Thanks for checking it out!
Sweet and to the point. I do appreciate all the little things you added to the UI to make the game look fun, though. It really goes a long way into making a regular concept pop and you've demonstrated that really well here.
Thanks so much! I am glad you appreciated the polish I opted for instead of a ton of feature creep :D
soooo much fun. very simple but very very good. i loved this game. would you be interested in porting this to mobile ಠಿ_ಠ ? Great job!
Thanks for the kind words! If you happen to be an Android user, there is an APK I uploaded to the itch page that should work just fine on your mobile device! It was designed with mobile in mind, I just didn't have time to export to iOS D: But the Android APK works okay, I play it in waiting rooms and stuff sometimes lol. Thanks again!
Awesome. Good game for poop time lol.
Finally, someone gets it! lol
Simple and fun, the presentation really deserves praise! I think the only thing really lacking is a sound to indicate that there are a few seconds left. Overall, nice work!
Thanks very much! Agreed, that'll be the first thing I add once the jam is finished. Funny the small things we overlook in jams, hah. Thanks for playing!
Simple and fun game! Not me trying to shake stuff out of the box.
I may or may not have put the most polish into making sure that wasn't possible lol. Thanks for playing!
This had no reason to be as fun as it was. So simple, yet done so well. Great work
Ayy thanks so much for giving it a go!
I had a very similar idea when trying to think of games for this jam, but there would've been different modes to toggle to see different entities. I liked your interpretation/implementation though! The music is pleasing and chill, and the art also has a cool low res style. Everything is pretty well thought out, I like the breakdown menu at the end of each level! Solid game and entry, good job!
Thanks very much! Yeah there were def a number of ways to go with "counting, but make it a video game" and I'm pretty pleased with this one lol. Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!
Very refreshing game. The game loop is really intuitive and the relaxing music and vibrant atmosphere really draw you in. I like that the object designs are very intentional. I never felt lost when I was trying to distinguish between them because of their shape and color. I do wish that there was some sound that would play to let me know I was almost out of time. Nice game!
Ah good feedback! An indicator of running low on time would be a great addition. If I keep developing at all I'll work that in, thanks! Glad you played it.
My favourite mechanic in games - counting! But for real, i liked it a lot, looks pretty and is fun and simple to play, good work!(check out our game if you got time *wink)
Thanks for checking it out! Keeping it simple is always tricky for me, I tried not to overscope this one :D Glad you liked it!
This is the most fun game i played with this interpretation of the theme by far. I really liked it. Congratulations for the game!
Thanks so much that's very kind of you! Thanks for checking it out :D
This is cool! I felt very chilled out playing it, it reminds me of puzzle games I'd play in the 16-bit days.
Nice work! This is a fun guessing game and a nice use of the theme mode in it's mathematical application. Great job!
Simple, but cute! I like it!
Nice! I appreciate all the work that must've gone into getting the menus and options clean and working. Polish does a lot for a game! Something simple that might make the game a little more challenging is mixing up how the objects spawn, as it was a little easy for me to just count them as they popped in. Great presentation, nice nod to the theme, and good work!
Ayy thanks! It was a nice length for a jam so I got to put a bit of extra love there, thanks for noticing! I agree w/ the spawn timer comment, I actually made the timers pretty short because of exactly what you called out lol. But if i put any work into this after the jam, I might play with that balance and working your suggestion in would be a quick win, I think. Thanks for checking it out!
Very cool take on Mode. Math nerds unite! I got all I could out of it in the first couple runthroughs, but everything is neat and tidy! Cute music and presentation, you should be happy getting this in time for the jam!
Thanks so much! I opted for polish over feature richness this time, and I think it still felt pretty satisfying, so I appreciate the validation there! Thanks for playing :D
I like this! Feels like a mobile game that I would waste time on haha,, or like someone else said, feels like a Mario party / wario-ware game
If you happen to be an Android user there's an APK you can drop on your phone and do exactly that ;) But yeah that was the design scheme, so I'm really glad you said so! Thanks for playing.
