A fun romp! It was certainly challenging, but I really enjoyed the fluidity of the movement and the superb pixel art/animation. I liked the variety of the levels as well. One thing that I think would have helped the game would be a bit of music. Also, I felt as though the sword wasn't quite as useful as the shotgun, so I found myself using the gun most of the time I was playing. This was still a fun time, though, and I thoroughly enjoyed the game!

that was fun! somehow the survive part never ended for me no matter how long i survived.

Loved the lighting, i didnt know you could blend it so well with pixel art. You nailed to atmosphere and the gunplay is solid!

This felt great and doing 2d lighting is always impressive! Where do you find the sword?

Gameplay was great , can use more guns and enemies , keep it up!

Very satisfying game with simple gameplay. I specifically like the chunkiness of the shotgun. I also feel like the difficulty was good! Well done:)

Super satisfying game. I think the difficulty was perfect. I do wish there was an ending after the endless mode, but overall, super fun title!!!

Very nice entry!

Maybe it could be even more dynamic if there were no need for weapon swap (like using 3 different controls for all the attacks). But it already is really good! And well it kinda get out of the theme tho

Dude this being your first game is crazy good. The shotgun felt way more powerful than the sword but I still like that your had two types of weapons. Also I like that you had a difficulty select in this game I played on easy mode so I appreciate it.

A very well made game for someone's first game. Loved the game mechanics and how smooth they were. Like the others have mentioned the sword need's to be buffed to warrant more of it's usage.

Fun game, very fast paced, very cool! If i had to give some criticism its that 1. some music might be nice, and 2. the shotgun just is 100% better then the sword. My advice for that us to switch the shotgun out for something like a rifle that excels at long ranged combat but struggles up close. That would force you to switch to the sword and give it some time to shine. Anyways, good work!

Really like this game. The movement is really fluid and the kills feel really satisfying. Helps a lot with the smooth animations as well. The bgs feels like it needs work as compared to the characters, regardless super fun game. The katana kinda lacks power compared to the shotgun as well.

Fun game! Unfortunately the sword didn't feel as powerful as the shotgun and I switched back to the shotgun as soon as I could haha

Love to see a "first game" in jams, bonus points for Godot! :D Fun Hack & Slash with a nice light narrative for a jam. Would've liked a bit more forgiving hits (I got swarmed once or twice and went from full to 0 real quick), but I suppose that's just realistic! Also not sure if there's a condition beyond "survive as long as possible" or if that's the end point, but clearly I didn't make it past there lol. Final bit of feedback would be that arrow key support would have been nice for the lefties in the crowd, I always struggle playing WASD.

Real fun entry, thanks for submitting!

Thank you for playing! I would have loved to polish some things out but due to some stuff i wasnt able to work on the last day of the jam, so i made an endless level as the last one.

Anyway, im glad you played my game and thank you for commenting!!!
