Nice job! the art is amazing and the sound design is incredible. With more time I have no doubt you would've put in some really cool upgrades and more variety to the gameplay. I really appreciated not having to start from the very beginning with each death

Super tough game! I don't know if I'm not playing it right but I couldn't get past wave 3!

Thanks a bunch! We’re glad you enjoyed it!

We’re glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah, being behind your stand holsters your gun to make it a little more challenging and force the player to choose between serving their customer or shooting stuff up. And thanks for the compliments, we’re a two person team, Gemma did all the art and I, Austin, did all the sfx and music. It was a blast working on it all

Thanks! We’re glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the kind words! And yes, we will absolutely be thinking about tutorials and intuitive game design in the future. Lots to learn! We’re excited!

Very fun game! Some bugs here and there with upgrading but overall I thought this was a great submission!

Thanks! We will absolutely have a little tutorial next time, or maybe having the player start next to the stand would've been better. But we're glad you had fun!

Wow, in the many hours we played this game during development, we never thought of that trick, nice job! Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks a bunch! We had fun making it and we're glad you enjoyed playing!

We're glad you had fun! Great feedback, I think next time we do a jam we'll do a tutorial level to fully explain the game in case anything isn't clear. Thanks!

Yes! It had us laughing the whole time making it, so we're glad it could do the same for you

Oh man! We need to work on our tutorial skills it sounds like! Thanks for the input and duly noted

I mean like, this could easily be refined and added to to release a commercial game. It's cool!

Great job on the art, sfx, and music. Super hard game, I'm so used to playing asteroids and being able to turn when idle. But that did make it more challenging. Great job!

Super polished game, I may need to work on my memory because I made quite a few mistakes. But I enjoyed it! Great job!

I really loved watching the little people come in and visit my little business. I appreciate the coziness of this game, I see potential

Wow, this is so cool! I really loved the mechanic of only being able to reload on specific tiles, this made for some hectic gameplay when some enemies would spawn on those reload tiles. I would love some music and straight up just a full game of this in general. Great job!

You may be one of the few submissions that has a story. Really good job on getting that done in a week, it had super interesting mechanics and you tied it all together really well

I thought the aesthetics were great, I loved the animation. It got so hard! but it was fun to move around shoot these little aliens

Super tough game! I'll need to sharpen up my first person platforming skills!

Fun game, at first I thought I wouldn't understand how to win but once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed it. I agree with one of the other comments, this would be a fun game with multiplayer and controller support would be awesome. Good Job!

Thanks, with this being our first jam and game ever, we're learning we need to figure out a better way to implement little tutorials to get people up to speed quickly

Thanks a bunch! It was a lot of fun to make, we appreciate the kind words!

Thanks! Haha, we realize that now, this is the first game we've ever done, we've got a lot to learn! Glad you had a good time though, I agree, it would've been good to have a better indication as to why the gun would disappear
