Incorporated the theme really well! Good game!

Thanks a bunch! We’re glad you enjoyed it!

Great game which was a lot of fun to play. I noticed that I seemed to have some trouble getting bullets off when I was positioned behind/close to a stand. Not sure why that would be. I enjoyed running around shooting all the bad guys trying to keep my stands up and running. Would be cool to add some kind of score counter so I can see how long I've survived or how many bad dudes I've taken down. Very impressed with the game art given that you've created this yourself? Great sounds accompanying the music - makes it all feel like a proper wild-west scene. Really nice work!

We’re glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah, being behind your stand holsters your gun to make it a little more challenging and force the player to choose between serving their customer or shooting stuff up. And thanks for the compliments, we’re a two person team, Gemma did all the art and I, Austin, did all the sfx and music. It was a blast working on it all

very nice game design my friend. very well done on the submission. I believe a tutorial could've been nice. But I had fun once I figured it out. nice mechanics. and visually appealing game.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! And yes, we will absolutely be thinking about tutorials and intuitive game design in the future. Lots to learn! We’re excited!

Nice game :) not 100% intuitive what to do, because the controlls and possible actions are only visible when your already in the action. Other than that very impressive design. The concept of not beeing able to shoot while trying to maintain health adds depth :)

Developer

Thanks! We will absolutely have a little tutorial next time, or maybe having the player start next to the stand would've been better. But we're glad you had fun!

This was really funny, i played it a few times and figured out the trick is to windmill my shootin hand till the local ladies come runnin! Well done!!

Developer(+1)

Wow, in the many hours we played this game during development, we never thought of that trick, nice job! Thanks for the kind words!

The concept is fun, mechanics are clean and it looks really good! Like the detail of having to balance staying at the stand to service the customers, and leaving it while shooting the cowboys, very cool and nice job on it!

Developer

Thanks a bunch! We had fun making it and we're glad you enjoyed playing!

Funny game. I thought I could only shoot the cowboys and accidentally shot two of the lovely local ladies who were attempting to buy some good ol' fashioned hanging merch from my booth. Their "blegh" made me cackle.

The goal of the game could be a little bit clearer as I thought that I was supposed to be shooting the other stalls to damage them and I couldn't figure out why my bullets weren't doing anything (other than murdering the aforementioned lovely local ladies), but it's also possible that that is just a me problem.

Great work!

Developer

We're glad you had fun! Great feedback, I think next time we do a jam we'll do a tutorial level to fully explain the game in case anything isn't clear. Thanks!

Fun little game - took a while to get used to, but the music and presentation had me laughing! :)

Developer

Yes! It had us laughing the whole time making it, so we're glad it could do the same for you

At first I did not notice that I could move, and the gun would not fire, one I saw the top right display for the control scheme it all clicked. Great enty! Fun game :)

Developer

Thanks, with this being our first jam and game ever, we're learning we need to figure out a better way to implement little tutorials to get people up to speed quickly

Haha, funny game. I had a good time, but take me a while to understand why my gun was disappearing from my hand. Also, just a tip: no point in a Quit button in a browser game. It will not actually Quit.

Developer

Thanks! Haha, we realize that now, this is the first game we've ever done, we've got a lot to learn! Glad you had a good time though, I agree, it would've been good to have a better indication as to why the gun would disappear
