The skip level mechanic was accidentally added because I forgot to remove it after debugging but it turned out to be a nice feature! Thanks for playing!

woww high praise, I really appreciate it, thanks for playing!

thanks for playing and giving such nice feedback :)

thanks, I appreciate it! I’ll check ur game out too!

haha thanks!

thanks so much! glad you enjoyed it :)

Really polished, complete game! I love the concept and the feel of it; the art and music are all very nice too. I feel like the pacing of the game feels very slow after a certain point though; each time I shoot the beam I continue to make money somewhat slowly relative to the increase in the cost of upgrades. I wish that the upgrades were more powerful so the ramp-up in money generation is faster. Maybe I'm missing something though because I fail to see how other people managed to hit above like 10m in a reasonable amount of time?

It's a creative idea for a platformer with very pretty pixel art - agree with melosprout that the jumping feels a little off, and the game could be a little bit more polished overall (sfx, vfx, mechanics). Good submission!

Really fun puzzle game! I was definitely drawn in and didn't even really realize how long I had been playing the game until I finished it. Congrats on really clever puzzle design. Some music or extra mechanics could have elevated this even more!

Fun and relaxing! While increasing the difficulty might take away from the cozy vibe, I do think the game could be a bit more challenging or strategic - maybe a deck-building element, or otherwise forcing the player to make more tradeoffs between cards rather than clicking greens over and over again while recycling.

Wowwwww, that's clever. I had completed steps 1-13 several times but couldn't see how to progress, and I didn't realize that you could just barely touch the bottom X block by jumping from the edge of the platform. It's nice to know that I got so close! That's definitely a tricky catch. Great job on the game!

Got to the second penalty after 2-3 resets. Couldn't really get farther than that.

This game is amazing - clever level design, cute art, great music, and a creative use of the theme. I love love love it. But I've been stuck on the last level for like 30 minutes now! Can you give a hint/walkthrough for the last level? I'm begging...

Super polished and creative, agree with the other comments that sfx would make this great!

While it's pretty clear the game is unfinished, it looks polished and I like the concept!

This is fantastic, super creative spin on platforming and usage of the theme. I think it's way too difficult though! I wish deaths caused respawn by level rather than from the beginning.

Hmm, are you hitting the "Next" button? It may repeat if you just click elsewhere on the screen - make sure you're clicking the button in the bottom right.

Gorgeous pixel art on a really polished game! Really creative use of the theme as well. There's a lot of quality-of-life improvements that could be made, like having options to go back to previous dialogue and a better tutorial. Other than that, really great job.

Good work on your first jam!

Fun, polished game. Movement and shooting felt really good. I wish the theme was more central to the game - it feels like the game could've been the same without the guided star. Overall good job though!

Nice, simple game with a nice use of the theme. I like the art and sound effects - my only gripe is that I wish there were more to the game, like other movement mechanics or types of enemies. The difficulty ramp is a little severe otherwise!

Getting Over It vibes with how difficult the movement system was, but it was fun!

This is a cute game! The mechanic is creative, I think you could expand on it by adding a difficulty ramp + sound effects to the game. Maybe more levels as well?
