i gotta say this was a calming card game experience! i was scared of all the complex instructions, but when it came to actually playing the game, simple, but challenging! plus i love card games! fantastic job!
Glad it was a calming experience, thank you so much for playing!
Awesome game, the art is great and it is so well polished. It is also really well designed, I always had to really think about which cars I play and in what order. Nicely done!
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Very calming and relaxing, but brilliantly done! I loved the low stress of it all, yet it still had some depth to it. Card games are no easy feat to make, especially in a week, so well done!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)
The music is very relaxing. The name is super clever and the art is very well done. I love how the plant changes over time as it gets better. It would be cool to have even more dynamic art, maybe bugs, a pet or something that also relate to the cards you are playing.
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I love the idea of a pet <3
Thank you so much for playing! On the music front it was actually Fletch's first time making music which is crazy.
Very cute and cozy. I like how you have to know how to work the cards and the redraw mechanic to win but you can also just kind of play cards and see what happens to learn. Super great!
Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!
What a brilliant, cozy game! I appreciate that the game requires lots of thoughtful planning, but never really feels stressful.
The art was gorgeous - the background shelves had lots of loving details, and the encyclopedia of cards was a great touch. I wish the "you win" dialogue was less prominent on-screen - my head was buried in the cards for most of the gardening session, so it would be nice to admire the plant itself for a bit before moving on to the next level.
There is a great variety of mechanics here too. It would have been easy to just have each card offer an incremental increase, but the different options are a great addition - from changing resource requirements to managing hand size to weighing flat increases over percentage decreases.
The music is a perfect fit for the game, it feels relaxing and organic. It's a little repetitive over long play sessions, but it's a great addition to the game overall.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
Thank you so much for playing and for such detailed feedback! Perhaps there is a way we can showcase the healthy plant along with the win state pop-up next time. :D
Thank you so much for playing!! Great feedback, if we continue the project we’ll be sure to work it in!
Thank you so much! I love your idea about the "you win" screen and we've discussed adding something like that in the future. Totally agree with you there. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.
Wow. This feels incredibly polished for a one week game jam submission. The quality of the visuals especially stands out, and the card pictures and descriptions are cute.
Probably the most relaxing game I've played in quite a while, with a fun puzzle mechanic. The game is easy to understand, and feels like something might play as a co-op experience on a board game night with friends.
If this were to become a full game it might be fun to think about introducing new gameplay aspects or unique properties of plants to keep the gameplay loop refreshing for new levels/plants. (but that's all just based on my first impression and immediate thoughts)
Thank you so much for playing and for the detailed feedback! I’m so glad you found the experience relaxing <3 We definitely hope to continue expanding on this idea in the future! I think part of the level of polish we were able to achieve is because we had a larger team, so delegating responsibilities was easier.
Thank you so much for the kind words! The positive response on Terrapy has definitely led to us brainstorming ideas for future updates.
Thank you so much!! Really appreciate the kind words! As the other's have said, there were mechanics we wanted to add and we hope to in the future! :)
This game looks so cute and the game mechanics also work really well.
I would love to have some small indicator in the corner of the cards to see what they do even if you are not hovering over them.
Great piece of feedback, thank you so much for playing!!
Thank you! An indicator is a great idea! Glad you liked it :)
This is a lot of fun, very relaxing, and the artwork (especially on the cards) is top notch. My only criticism is that at times it felt a bit random, because there’s no way to predict what’s coming next. Maybe if it were possible to hold more cards at once it would be possible to come up with more strategies.
Deck building would also be a nice way to solve this issue, but I appreciate that would be a lot to ask in a 1-week jam, especially when you’ve clearly done a lot already! :-)
Thank you so much! Deck building was part of the initial idea but with the 1 week constraint and our schedules we had to reduce scope. Totally agree though! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
Fun and relaxing! While increasing the difficulty might take away from the cozy vibe, I do think the game could be a bit more challenging or strategic - maybe a deck-building element, or otherwise forcing the player to make more tradeoffs between cards rather than clicking greens over and over again while recycling.
I totally agree! We really wanted to add deck building, but unfortunately, the 1-week constraint made that goal out of reach. Thanks so much for playing!
As Fletch said! Totally agree but we had to cut back scope due to the 1 week time frame. Glad you enjoyed it though! :)
This game was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed having to strategically pick cards. The game left me wanting more, and I would love to see this game continue development
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm happy to hear you liked it so much :)
Thank you so much for playing!!
such a fun, beatiful and cute little game! it was both challenging and relaxing, well done!!!
Thank you so much for playing!!
Thank you so much for playing! Glad you liked it! :)
This is so cute! Just be aware of performance issues and lag in the browser version.
Noted, thanks! Probably could’ve reduced the asset file sizes a bit to save on the download. Will keep this in mind for next time!
Cozy and fun!
Thank you!
