Thank you Fabricio!

Are you a fellow Brazilian? Notice on your name :D

Thank you so much for your feedback, Flipflostudios!

Sadly the time was too short and the game was very ambitious so we didn’t have much time to work on SFX, nether to balance the game :’(

But we are very please on what we did accomplished on that three exhausting days!

Thanks again for your support and feedback!

Thank you Fodi! Glad you like it, we’ve been talking about continuing the project. We are very please to say that we did something with a promissing future, so stay tunned for updates on that!

We didn’t have much time to balance the game so thinks are a bit weird atm :D

Check the game page for how to play

Thanks for playing our game, and for the feedback! We fixed as much bugs we could but you know how it is, they keep coming ! hahahaha

Muito obrigado Luciano, bom que gostou, vi que você se esforçou bastante para permanecer em primeiro lugar. Meus parabéns!! :D

Hello Jack. Thanks for playing our game. We did realize that bug where you have to place the cursor on the objects to re-interact with them, and you are right, it shouldn't be like that, sadly it wasn't something we could spend time on :<

About the light... We used Unity that already has an cone shaped light emissor, and we already have programed an toggleable interactor, so the only thing we really had to do was make the toggleable interactor turn the object that was with the light component on and off. :D

Thank you very much for playing our game! Glad you like it

Fico feliz que tenha gostado! Infelizmente não tivemos tempo de fazer outro final, quer dizer, se vc perder o jogo é um final, e se vc pegar o guarda-chuva é outro, só tem esses dois! Mas a ideia é tentadora hehehehe

Congratulations in sending your first game! I highly encourage you to participate in other ones, when when you do. Keep this in mind:

  • Take your time to develop your core mechanics. I had some issues when I was trying to heal a patient, I teleported to some random places after interacting with them, and the player movement is not that fluid. All this accumulates and makes the game look less and less attractive to keep playing. So... again, take your time to develop the core mechanics of your game :D
  • Watch out for what and how you display information for the player, always consider that the person who is playing your game never played any game before! I didn't understand how the two bars below each character works, and they don't seem to matter. And the tutorial was very hard to see, and even harder to discover that I had to press R to move to the next tutorial

Some tip, if I may:

About the tutorial

  • Make the tutorial the first thing that the player will see, create a dedicated windows for this.
  • Display more information with images, long texts tend to be boring for lazy people, like me.

About the gameplay

  • Sort your sprites correctly. Sometimes my character appear under the table, that pass an impression of a not well polish game.
  • Don't make the collider of the player, in a top down game, the the full size of it. As you are looking your character from the top to bottom, only it's feet should collide with stuff.
  • Make interactions more clearly, I liked the animations that display that my character is actually doing something, you nail at it! But I miss the "E to interact" so I can know what I can interact with.

Sorry about the long text! I hope I gave you some useful tips! You are in the right path! Good luck :P

Good game! I liked the art style, I wish the SFX were a little more polished and you could add an ambient music to sell more the ambient. Other then that, well done.

PS: I liked this reimagined version of Cinderella

I enjoyed so much this idea of having lots do do even when your "grounded" lol. Congratulations on your entry! very creative

Some considerations:

  • The first time I tried to play your game it bugged and I could not interact with the gameboy :(
  • Sometimes you cannot jump, and the animations freeze. I could not understand when this happens or how to trigger this bug, unfortunately, but it don't happen very often.
  •  I couldn't go to the next level, I don't know if you made one, but nothing appear to me to interact to get me to the next level. I though it was a similar bug to the first one on this list.

I loved the art style and all the effects and particles! The SFX and the music is well crafted too.  Congrats.

I just have a few considerations:

  • The dodge could send me a little further
  • When I get hit or dodge my character stops shooting. Is there a reason for this?
  • Is very hard to see where I can move and where I cannot, is very easy to get myself in trouble for that :(

Other then that. Very well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciate it.

About the lever... you missed somethin sharp ;P

Pros:

  • I loved the art work;
  • The music and sound effects are awesome as well;
  • The GUI is very well presented
  • The game page is carefully made

Cons:

  • The character movement could been more polished. Sometimes you slide away from the edges and that tend to be annoying;
  • I didn't understand your interpretation of the theme :(

Yah, I tried to make a too complex game, which is not just hard to make a tutorial for it but it also consumes a lot of time and effort to do

Thank you so much for your feedback. About the bugs, this one... "I couldn't input my name" I have no idea why :( . And this one "I couldn't exit" I forgot to make the exit button call the exit function

About some comments: "I upgraded them and yet they still all died" they suppose to die anyway, upgrading them is gambling, that's why figuring out how the curse is killing your miners is so important, this way you don't lose one without your planing. And finally "As others have said, I wish there was a tutorial or an easier section at first" probably should do both, a smaller section with some text guiding the player trough it and then the actual game would be perfect!

I love the concept of the game, but the movement could improve a bit, sometimes you move some keys that you didn't intend to, and the control key could snap into place, sometimes I had to reload my entire game just because I overstep it a bit. Other than that great game congrats!

I love how thinks get out of your control very fast in this game lol

Great game guys!

My thanks dude, I wish we had more time so I could make a tutorial :P

That's sad :<
Yog-Sothoth will not be pleased with you, sir! You suppose to make enough money for the collecting of Yog-Sothoth to do so you can upgrade your mine and your miners. Thanks for your feedback men!

gotcha

Reorder... Like getting an instruction in the middle and moving it to the first place for example

Interesting concept, you could improve this by adding the possibility to reorder the instructions and an away for you to see the characters last path. Other than that. Congrats :D
