Character editor works perfectly and may even be better than Oblivion character creator in terms of creating blue eyed melanated bipedal fish.  Memes aside - it is a nice character editor.

Main game works, but there isn't much. Combat didn't really work (took me a bit to realise I need to equip the sword, but still). Spooky teddy bear with red eyes - was hard to find the switch to turn the lights back on.

Curios about where this game is gonna go. Keep it up!

Developer

hahaha thanks, the reason of the teddy was to test world changes in multiplayer.

Yes this is great

Some scattered thoughts as I played the game:

  • The main menu UI is simple but has a nice aesthetic, just give the buttons some more flair and it'll be great.
  • Character camera seems rather sensitive right off the bat.
  • Movement feels smooth, combat does not. I get that this is probably some Mixamo animation you threw in just for the sake of it, but please don't freeze the player in place when you actually implement combat.
  • Couldn't find a way to get back to the main menu, had to ALT+F4.
  • Conversely to the character camera, the editor camera is not sensitive enough. I should be able to get at least one full spin of the character with a single stroke.
  • My only functional complaint with the editor is that the coloring widgets should use HSV as the default as it's much more intuitive for the user.

The customization options are limited right now but I can see you easily expanding them, it was pretty fun making a character. I tried making Jojo from Ferarum.

Keep it up, I'll check in next time.

Shoulder Slide does nothing.

Rename Breasts, Buttocks and Hips to Chest, Hips, Thighs respectively. More accurate to the Area they're affecting, also sounds less horny and stupid.

You can't close out of the Color Selector. There's no checkbox to match Eyebrow Color to Hair Color, same with Eyelashes.

You have some Form of bad looking Shader on your Hair, causing a horrid Black Blob when moving the Camera.

Attack Animations feel fluid, not sure if they're selfmade or Mixamo tho, I think I've seen them before. Not that that's necessarily a bad Thing, they fit. It feels a bit floaty when moving tho, especially when stopping, but I couldn't pinpoint any of it.

Hitscan seems to work, Crosshair would be nice, even if just a tiny dot for Interacting with Stuff, the Teddy was spooky, don't suddenly do that.

That's all there is I think.

Would like to try more of the game beyond the character creator. Otherwise, so far it seems cool.

there isn't really any gameplay yet, but i really like the art style you are going for
i hope you add clothing customization to the editor next
side note, using the same button for normal attack and charged attack felt kind of weird to me, i feel like people might accidentally use the wrong one during the action

the idea of clothes is to pick them in game, thanks for the time to test the demo!
