oh wow, that's really cool for such a short amount of time, kudos!

ah man I tried a few buttons but not that one lol.  I did eventually get one success, was just refreshing the page.

I enjoyed the voice lines xD and the atmosphere was well set!

Nice implementation of the theme!  Would've like a restart button ;p

What a great entry!  The wave puzzle was awesome =D  It was a bit hard to tell what could be interacted with, but the way I see, that's part of adventure games: clicking on random stuff until you find one that does something lol

Yeah even just making the exit lane longer would have helped.  I wanted to put in some signs or road markings but just didn't have time.  Thanks for giving it a shot and providing your feedback! :D

Thanks for the comment!  Yeah, those are things I wanted to get in but just didn't have enough time during the work week to fit it all 😪

well, as it is, the players punishment is driving off the end of the road into a bottomless void XD thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and to give me your feedback, I appreciate it!

Thank you!

yeah I'll give it a go when I'm back to my PC!

thanks!

Interesting concept and solid execution.  Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback!

thank you! :D

shameful xP yeah I had to submit several hours before the deadline because of work the next day, so no last minute play testing or fixes.  thanks for trying it out!

I appreciate you taking the time to try it out and let me know what you think! :D

Thank you :D

Nice work!  Very well put together with well thought out obstacles.  Only issue I had was that I'd sometimes rotate in undesirable ways, but a minor inconvenience!

Thanks for giving it a try!  This art style was definitely outside my usual comfort zone but it was fun and easy to work with for a jam game.

I like mazes, and the art style was very interesting!  Was risky to start moving again because the lights would dim, so I wasn't sure how close I was to a ledge, but that just added to the suspense!

Thanks for trying it out!

Very fun and original concept and implementation of the theme, kudos!  something about trying to jump and use momentum at the same time was difficult for me to get the hang of, however.

Thanks for the feedback!

I enjoyed figuring out the puzzles, and the writing was entertaining!  Aside from needing a checkpoint system, as others have mentioned, I must say that the freeze mechanic seems redundant.  If the player were able to push the obstacles without first freezing them, the puzzles would still play out the same way.

Good to know, thanks for the info and, again, nice work!

This is my favorite of the jam submissions!  (Unfortunately I didn't submit, so I couldn't rate it xd)  I happened to try it on my phone - expecting controls not to work - and saw the cool on screen controls appeared on the lower half of my screen.  I'd love to know how to implement that!

Well polished, with a very cohesive style and experience!  I liked the random events between rounds, although, the chance of being given certain choices seemed like it could benefit from some balancing.

Thanks for trying it out!  We didn't want it to seem like the Zealots were stereotypical evil-doers, so we wanted to humanize them in some way.

I can tell a lot of research must've gone into the historical accuracy, and the map design looks great!

The dialog boxes being off-screen bugged me too, but just wasn't high enough priority to get to it in time xd

But yes, you seem to have gotten the gist of the story.  As you said, it's a smaller fictional narrative set in the context of the actual revolution.

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and to give your feedback!

cool, thanks for the info!

I'm curious where you found royalty free performances of those classical compositions?

Yeah, it's always a tough balancing act!  I tend to spend too much time on the art, myself.

Nice work, I enjoyed the way the story was delivered through the little conversations on the maps.  Like some others, I would have liked to have seen more of the combat, it was fun!

Hard fun charging into people and knocking them over XD  I died honorably!

Looks like a lot of time went in to laying out the environment, and it looks nice!  The combat felt a bit flat, however.

Fun gameplay, and the crowds and other sfx really set the mood of a protest!

Sorry to hear it didn't work out, I hope you'll try again!

Gameplay was fun and the controls were pretty tight, nice work!  I liked the music and SFX as well.
