Thank you :) I was so focused on getting something that somewhat worked in time to submit HAHA. Very much a learning experience and an accomplishment.
I did not notice the coins disappearing. I will definitely look into that. Thanks for letting me know. All the feedback really helps. I have loads of troubleshooting to do. I have a theory in mind on why that is happening.
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, Thanks :) I've only been making games for 3 weeks now lol. Very new to the Indie Dev scene. Trying to find an Engine i vibe with so tested out Godot for this one. :) Found it a bit challenging but an accomplishment. Having fun doing these game jams. Hoping in the future to find some teams to work with not that I have a few games built.
Thanks for the feedback!
Once the jam is over I plan to revisit the level design. I had to rush it due to lack of time. I'd like to decorate it a bit more and ad some variety.
Yes, I suspect the jump animation is giving an input delay. It's on my to-do list :)
I will also look into why the attack is not working. I use an Xbox controller, so I had to guess on button setups for PlayStation. But thanks for making me aware of this issue. Also is there an attack button you prefer or is standard. I can always change it from triggers.
Thanks again for the feedback. This was a learning process for me as I have never used Godot before and still learning But happy to have a working game :)
Sadly, the level design was the last thing I did, and had to rush through it. I have never used Godot before, so I was learning as I went. Didn't think I was gonna make the deadline. I would like to revise the levels and a few other things (adding health etc.) after the Jam. Thanks for playing and for your feedback! :)
Sphere posted Directly on my game stating he removed me from this jam for my game being pre-made. The game was made during thetime frame and fit the theme. If you look at the other jams submitted, they are yearlong jams that show off work/ accomplishments/progress and are not judged jams.... Again, why they rudely posted on my game comments that they represent this jam? also posted in other places and on other people's games stating the same things. Look at their post feed. so as did I. This is a direct reflection of this jam, hosts and community. I got into indie dev to find like-minded people and communities to build with. I worked hard for 5 days trying to finish it to submit. If you look at when I joined it was over a month ago and I was even in your Discord. Sphere should be disqualified and removed from your community! unless you are saying that is the type of community member who represents you.
So, harassment is allowed in your community?!
I submitted to this jam and I was disqualified. "For my game being premade" which it was not.. I have been documenting my whole processes via screen shots and discord and have many people who can confirm who also helped with trouble shooting. Please explain how it is premade and why I was disqualified. I made this game with a black hole cutting through the center of the map. Followed all the rules.
And SPHERE left a comment on my game stating it was premade!
