Great fun. Loved stopping to read the text in the code editor on the godot level haha. Only critisism is a lot of the time using the scaling gun didn't feel super necessary, for example the blender level I could just walk on the floor around the side of all the obstacles

Super buggy but fun how quickly things get out of hand haha

Very cool movement mechanic, unfortunately also quite frustrating. Getting a perfect jump is really difficult and anything less than that isn't enough to keep moving upwards, with a bit of fine tuning this could be awesome though

Cool mechanics and just overall a charming little game. Had me scratching my head haha

I like how each colour plays a different note and it is quite satisfying to put them all together. The levels get a bit repetitive buts its good fun

Nice aesthetics and cute character designs. Mechanics wise its very similar in concept to Thomas Was Alone. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the second level, there was no exit door and it seemed like the level was meant to scroll when I went off the right side of the screen but it didn't so I got stuck

Thanks. Yes some connections will automatically disappear to make way for new parts to connect in.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. It's procedurally generated so can go on forever :)

Yeah that last level was only thrown together in the last hour of the jam and the example code given is pretty confusing. I did update it to be much clearer but just barely ran out of time to get that build uploaded

Very neat idea. I found it very chaotic and hard to figure out what was going on a lot of the time. Also I found a way to glitch through the floor lol. Nice work

Very confusing haha but a lot of fun. It is a little slow watching the ball do its thing though, I wonder if perhaps it would be more fun if you had to press the keys as the ball is already going, maybe even make it like and endless runner. The core idea is definitely sound.

(1 edit)

Fun concept and very well presented. Who knew squishing frogs could be so fun

Very unique idea. Simple and well executed. It did get repetitive quite quickly but for 48 hours great work

Good idea, pretty well presented but I found I could go for minutes at a time without needing to move at all and I never once had to use the jump. I also wonder if allowing the car to be moved to any position left to right rather than the three slots might make things more interesting. With a bit more variety in the obstacles this could be a really fun little game

Really fun. I think everyone's first idea was something like this but this is by far the best implementation I've seen. Good job

I've seen this concept done before but its been well executed here. I did find the difficulty quite high even on the first level, mostly because the jumps is quite small. I also had a weird issue where I died despite seemingly not hitting anything once or twice. Overall I had a fun time

Clever idea, I enjoyed it a lot. I will say that it really needs a tutorial, took me a while to figure it all out... although some of that is me barely reading the description lol

Through great suffering haha. Its leveraging the Expression class in Godot for most of the difficult stuff but then variable assignments, if statements and while loops all had to be implemented by me. Its a real bodge job.

Neat concept and a lot of fun. But also quite finicky and frustrating. Perhaps this could be improved by being able to drag ghosts of the blocks around instead of placing them again each time, then just clicking on them at the right time to make them solid. I like the little lean the character does when moving left and right.

Neat concept but the 6 levels are all far too easy, would have been nice to throw in a difficult one at the end to show. I like the look although the level transitions are a little on the slow side which can get annoying. Fun game

A very creative take on the theme, and plenty of fun.

Neat idea but very difficult!

Not much depth but has a very cute art style

Fun and very challenging. Love the look.

A little clunky to control but I love the gameboy asthetic

Fun game, well implemented mechanic and amazing presentation. Can feel a little bit clunky at times but otherwise great job!

Cool game but very difficult to understand at first. A tutorial would be nice

Fun art design and a well implemented  mechanic that fits the theme well. I felt it ended to soon though, would have been nice to see some more difficult levels but great job for a jam!

Fun but very difficult, maybe start off easier and ramp the difficulty up more slowly to stop people giving up early

Interesting idea and nice art. I'm terrible at it though haha

Fun game but controls can be a bit finicky

Awesome art style! Love it!

I've seen a lot of games based on this same mechanic but this is by far the one with the best execution

Fun game and it looks gorgeous!

Nice idea and fun but can be positioning slimes cam be frustrating at times

Very fun game and a unique idea, would love to see this expanded with more levels!

A fun little platformer, controls feel great! Sound effects are a little grating though

Fun idea, definitely a good twist on a classic metroidvania. Can be a pain to get all the slimes back to the machine after taking damage but otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

Don't worry that was the last level anyway haha

Incredible! Love the art style and the puzzles are great. I feel there are plenty of mechanics that can be expanded on here, that moment when you realize you have to reverse to get through the door in time is excellent. I would love more of this!
