It's really hard to move and aim :/ I had big problems with trying to kill enemies because of that :(
And i think that bomb actually getting destroyed in main menu/end screen would be a nice touch! :)
In our game we count the number of steps you took to complete the puzzle so you know if did better or worse, so maybe you could add a counter that shows you how long you survived? :D
The clone mechanic was a bit tricky at the start, but when i got the hang of it the rest of the game was a blast!
You could work more on sounds, the "winning" sound isn't that pleasant to hear ;/
And i would really be grateful if you gave feedback and rating on our game, if you had time ofc, no pressure! :D
Really cool looking game! Unfortunately one of the droids pushed me into the wall and i got stuck :(
But i am not sure how to heal up. After a couple of droids battles you have barely no hp, and another droid encounter is instant death.
I think that people running from the droids would give your game a little bit of life! :D
I think you did a great job!
You could've explainen the double jump coin (?). I got stuck for 3 mintutes because i didn't know what to do. Next time explain your mechanic before throwing the player straight into the game!
Also, huge text on top of the screen isn't a good way of showing the player how to play.
And if you'd have time, please rate our game ;)
"The tutorial texts and your score were cut off." I made the tutorial part 20 mins before submission closing. I totally forgot about the anchors, and eveything is achored to the middle :/ For the score screen, it's probably the same issue.
"There were also a few grammatical errors in the wording." It's because English isn't mine and (probably) Lil Narwhal's first language. Sorry about that!
Glad you liked the game!
"I also really like that you had time to add a tutorial screen" It was done 20 mins before submissions closing xD
"Try to shrink the game's file size, because a 40GB download for a rather simple game is a big turn off for a lot of people." If I am correct, unity project in itself is 20MB, and during a jam, game size should be the last thing, you think about.
Unfortunately, because of our artist leaving mid-jam, We spent about 2h doing simple art for the game, which could've been used for polishing.
But in the end, I am really happy that we managed to pull this off. Thanks for great feedback!
