Good start, there are a lot of part of the game to polish.
Some suggestions:
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
Thanks for the feedback, I did not even realise you could put physic materials on 2D objects, that is very useful!
nice little, game, I like the Idea, there are some bugs and stuff, but I enjoyed it all the same...
If you want come check out my game its not about rewinding time it is about not rewinding time. :)
It's a good idea. But you need to add a restart button! Or if you already have one, write it down somewhere. I had to refresh the game page every time I got stuck due to a bug... The design of your game leads to a lot of situations where you get stuck. I got my head stuck in platforms more times than I liked to admit. But when it happened I couldn't do anything but quit the game, and wait for it to load all over again. Granted, your game is not too big, so for now that's not a problem. But if you added more levels, expanded the game a bit... it would soon take a much longer time than people are willing to wait. If you add a restart button you don't have to worry about that!
Also, slow down the rewinding! It is too chaotic as it is now. It made me get stuck in walls a lot. I feel that the game does check if you will get stuck in the wall when rewinding, but it fails half the time. If you slowed it down, you wouldn't have to worry so much about that.
Overall, good job! It's an interesting idea. Well done!
A rewind button will be added to a post-jam release. I would have slowed down the rewind but it made it a lot less intuitive and more annoying so I may have to completely rework that
I really like the idea! I think it has potential for really cool level design, the rewinding should just be a lot slower to really see what's happening.
Good idea, but the rewind is buggy and has exploit potential
the game is so buggy However you seem a new game dev, keep up the good work and try to fix it and make a good game fixing all bugs and try to finish it, it would make a good experience 🤍
Yes, I have only been using Unity for about 2 months now but have been programming for 2 years. This game was only my second and I hope to make many more! Love your game by the way, it is very good
Definitely a bit buggy but I really liked the concept behind this game and with a little more polish I think it could be really fun. I like many others definitely got stuck in the walls when pressing E. It almost seems like the level scrolling is going off of framerate. Not sure how your codebase looks but, if you're not already, you might want to consider having the level movement multiplied by an adjustable speed variable and then multiplied by Time.deltaTime. That way you can just change that speed variable to get it feeling smooth.
I fixed the collision issue and will push a patch now with some other fixes!
Is pretty fast!
I see the same way as paku and i like the game's color palette it looks so sweet
Rewind mechanic coul've been made better. Each time i use rewind i get stuck in walls without any way of restarting.
If have some time, please rate our game ;)
Cool concept, i got fling through the map a couple of times, and gpt stuck on the ground, but cool!
Nice idea, but pretty buggy. In nearly every try I glitched out of the world or into random objects. xD
i like how you have implemented the rewind mechanic!
it definitly is something innovative.
your camera which is attached to the player is a little clunker. check out how "cinemachine" works in unity. that really helps you out in the future!
great game. maybe you want to check out mine as well? :P

it does actually use cinemachine but i did not mess with the settings, probably should!
This game is very cool, and It is fun to explore the platforming map. First time I played I pushed 'E' and got warped into the ground hehe, after I restarted it seemed fine~ If you like this idea, keep working on it! Awesome job submitting a platforming game to this jam and I hope you learned a lot of new stuff. When you have time, please check out my game :D
