Very strong art and music, I liked the music it being partially hidden by the low rumbling. The gameplay itself was pretty straightforward but more than made up for by the atmosphere, loved the house decaying over time. Unsettling in a way that isn't easy to accomplish in a short pixel art game.

Good job with ramping up the horror elements as the search goes on, for a short game it's well paced. I appreciated the little interaction signals and basic story, they greatly elevate a game jam game like this. The art is basic but it's effective enough at creating the scary atmosphere. Some music or other ambient sound would help immerse the player.
Great use of the art style, switching between strongly colored rooms was very visually interesting. I liked what I saw of the puzzle aspect but judging by some of the other review I think I missed something as I only saw a couple of different rooms. Would have liked mouse control but wasn't a huge hindrance.
I liked the combination of the first person and text adventure and thought it had potential. Some polish in the text section could be helpful (listing inventory, automatically selecting the input field so it doesn't require clicking etc.) and I would have liked to finish the story but got stuck in the text part. Watching the walkthrough you posted it seems well done and just in need of some polish.
Very creative controls and movement mechanics, at least I've never come across something that plays like this. I found I was clicking "End" a lot to refresh my movement and could generally not make it to the end of each level but that may have been player error. Simple art but coheres with the music and UI well and is effectively stylized.
Enjoyed the aesthetics and method of interacting with the humanoid but would have liked a little more to happen beyond the humanoid sprite changing and I wasn't sure if there would be a payoff or end if I continued to feed and train it. The documents/lore combined with the presentation was effective and I would have liked it more with a little stronger gameplay or at least more response to player action.
