This is a very addicting game! The plot is good. The graphics are nice and minimalistic!

It was fun! The game in a game thing is always an interesting premise.

Very spooky and loved the fake out "look behind you".

Got soft-locked in the text game though sadly when I went "go chandelier".

Otherwise, very solid entry!

Creative idea, loved the room's art style, good job.

The game's got an interesting premise. Puzzle was difficult to figure out until I looked up on the walkthrough video.

Really nice concept. I escaped the matrix at last! What I would add it's a way to scroll up and down text. I really liked the atmosphere overall.

It's a cool take on the horror genre. When (in the text game) I reached the bedroom, it does startled me a bit. Text game itself is quite well made within the jam.
The game can be improved on the text game, for example I have to click it after every command and it bothersome (but it's a gamejam so understandable). I wish to see the game grow into the larger scale.
All in all, great game

Liking the vibe.  The mouse sensitivity was a bit high for me and I struggled to control the movement.  But I think this is on the right path!

I liked the combination of the first person and text adventure and thought it had potential. Some polish in the text section could be helpful (listing inventory, automatically selecting the input field so it doesn't require clicking etc.) and I would have liked to finish the story but got stuck in the text part. Watching the walkthrough you posted it seems well done and just in need of some polish.

Hi, the walkthrough video for White Room is now up on the itch.io page, I'll also post the link here:

I hope that could be helpful for anyone who got stuck on the game, really thanks for the feedbacks!

At the start, I didn't exactly understand what was going on. For me, the mouse sensitivity was very high (unknown if it was my mouse) so I was unable to play for the first minute. Afterwards, I got used to it. The concept is cool and I saw that a walkthrough was going to be released for the game so that's exciting!

Keep up the good work guys! :)

Hi haroldisjess, thank you for your feedback. Yes I find out that the mouse sensitivity on the web version is very high (not sure why that happened), it should be normal on the standalone version. I'll find a way to fix that later.

Visually, the game looks great, but it's impossible to play, unfortunately. I only managed to pick up the battery, and I don't know exactly what to do next. You can't go to the door, although it would be more logical if you could

If you fix the game, please let me know about it. I really enjoy this kind of games

Hi GREYM2, thank you for your feedback. I just tested both the web and standalone version and they work fine to me. Can you try using commands like "go red door", "go white door"? I'll post a walkthrough later today, if you still got stuck when playing the game, feel free to leave a follow-up comment!

At the beginning, I had a great time playing the game and discovering the room while interacting with the computer. However, I eventually got stuck with the computer commands and couldn't figure out what to do next after the first night's sleep. The game had a great atmosphere, and I was interested in learning more about how I ended up in the room. Great job!

Hi FlippaWeeks, thank you for sharing your suggestions! Yes we really spend (a bit too much) much time on atmosphere building for the game, and we understand that some commands in text adventure part aren't very intuitive. We plan to publish a walkthrough of the game later today for those who get stuck with the game, and will publish a more polished version of the game after the jam ends. We hope you can enjoy the atmosphere of the game after we publish the fix!
