Quite challenging to work out the best strategy for each player :-) And it captures the situation well.

Fun little game, needs a few tweaks to avoid being too hard

If a new Medic counters pops up on a location where there is already an IJA counter, is the Medic automatically dead? or is it placed in a new location instead? This was fun. I only gained 17 points. Twice IJA popped up on or next to a Medic so some rounds were very short :-) Also, I assumed that removed Medic counters are returned to the opaque container?

Downloaded and made, about to play today. Glad to see a game with a rescue rather than fight mechanic.

thanks, now I can give it a try :-)

Looks interesting but I can't work out where the Italian and Austrian setup/trenches are? And what do the squares A, A4, etc mean? Can you please clarify?

Yes it makes sense to me :-)

Well done organising this! I played and rated 15 games so far, and have another 5 ready to PnP. I think the 177 ratings shows just how popular this idea is!! :-) Many of these games with minimal or no improvements would be hits on Wargamevault.

Q. How many of Bernadotte's units can move in the same turn? eg Turn 1, if the first unit enters the city node and "loses" and thus enters the value box, can a second unit then also enter the city node and try to attack the same district again?

Q. Why would any unit be forced to attack the Swedes? I don't understand :-(

Manouvre really is the key to winning in this one :-)

I really like this game- some interesting and innovative mechanics for restricting what each player can do. Q. What can the V corp units do for the Austrians because they appear stuck across the river and unable to move?

This is a great game, very interesting decisions to make and lots of options. Surprisingly complex for such a small game. It really brings this historic action to light. Very hard for CIA to win. 5/5 on both scores. Next game I will try a new strategy and see if the CIA can prevent more FAR units arriving on turn 3 and 4 by taking those entry points, maybe they can then survive!

Good ideas, good balance of meaningful decisions and chance, a challenge to win. Took a little while to understand how the action tables work but then it becomes clear during first game. Good work!

An interesting set of mechanics, and difficult to win, with a minor weakness that the hex edges are  hard to see.

Fun game, very good. How are the first attack and second attack parts meant to work, who gets to place units first or 2nd, and can they be switched after assigning etc.? I played and left those rules out because they are not clear enough yet :-)

This looks fun, so i will download and try it :-) The last sentence, is that meant to be "A GAME is over"? Since there are 3 rounds, and given the starting position and max 3 space movement rate there is no way the Australians can reach that left end in 1 round (actually even in 3 rounds it is too far, so this is unclear).

So is what you are saying that the player can combine 2 or even 3 confederate cards in a column/challenge to win, and each confederate card can only be used once. Or am I confused again?

This is fun, and quite a challenge to work out a strategy. 2 questions- what does "push at its location" mean- does it mean move ahead? "Move 1 space" does that mean for just 1 unit? (I assume so). Also in the last sentence "combat" is spelt incorrectly.

Very good. I played both hands trying to forget what the other hand had and that worked fine. The Germans just won on what would be their last turn, so it is very balanced! (Have not tried the solo rules yet).

Yes it is quite fun. Makes you plan and think about risks :-) I am going to play a game ignoring one of the dots "pre-search" to make it more nail-biting :-)

Hi, this is quite fun. My only comment is that it seems too easy to jump in and get kills and disappear before the Escort even reaches the Search box, unless I am missing something?

Thanks, I'll try that new text.

Wonderful! I've played and rated 7 so far, hope to do another 10+ that look interesting to me. Everyone did a wonderful job, what a major resource for years to come!

So far I have only done a handful but have others printed ready to play but may not get them done in another 9 days! And many games seem to have only 1 or 0 ratings :-( . It seems a pity when they are all so great! (all my ratings are 3+ so far).

This change makes the game much more playable as it reduces the impact of randomness and makes tactics more important:-)

Some good ideas. It seems too easy for the Narco to win. Operation point 4 is confusing even after reading it many times and playing it.

This has been lots of fun playing, especially with the extra clarifications page. Q. When Turks retreat from positions 1,2,3,4 can they retreat to another one of those same spots (if there is space) or do they have to leave the board completely?
