The have to shoot the opposite color to damage the golem.
I wanted it to be fire and water but I didnt have the art.
As I ended up making this on my own
Specify any and all pre-made assets in your submission.
I dont think I can be entered to win.
As I thought I was using place holder art assets until
the artist was free to help
but they were unavailable
So my player character is the titan souls character art
and a plant and a bit of wall sprite.
I used the VFX the cartoon-coffee-free-vfx-starter-pack-vol.1 you gave us in the discord.
Sorry about the assets. I was disappointed but still wanted to submit for the jam

This is only my second Jam, so not 100% sure of the rules but I think because of the art assets I used as a stand in. I think I will have to be excluded from prizes ect.

Nice boss fight.
I would have like to see more attacks and a speed up of the attacks. Currently it feels a bit to easy for my taste.
Nice animation where the boss appears!
Thanks for playing and reviewing, means a lot to me.
Totally can see where you are coming from. Would be so awesome to have a stage 2 and 3 to that fight.
I was going to have the golem head have attacks from the mouth too. like a flame jet type attack.
As I thought that would be a good escalation to a phase 2.
The player then has to dodge the balls, change attack type and time when to attack.
phase 3 would then have the head, change polarity after a short while not just after the player attacks, so now the player has to fight a time window + have a state where the mouth is looking upward away from the character and the player cant attack during this time.
This is when a stage wide area of attack would happen.
Thanks again for playing and your feedback!
Sounds like a good idea to spice it up :D
game is so polished. it took me little time to figure out the how to beat that golem, but I showed him whoโs boss.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing!
I'm so glad you beat the boss! They need knocking down a few pegs every now and then haha
By any chance are you participating in boss rush jam?
Good work, the gamefeel is great for such a short Game Jam. The artist situation is unfortunate but the game looks great nevertheless. I like the trope of using a boss's attacks against them. Overall, cool game!
Thanks so much for review! I had a lot of fun making the game and I'm glad you enjoyed the gamefeel as I spent a lot time on it!
Thanks again for rating and reviewing!
the art is really really good!
was really clueless at the beggining but managed to win :)
good job!
Thanks for playing and reviewing!
Great game, but a short one sadly!
Thanks for playing and reviewing!
yeah I had to rush a lot at then end just to have a complete game loop. Was real close to not submitting in time!
a really nice and polished game, a bit of a short one but I think the subtle puzzle-solving it took to understand how to start and damage the boss made up for it.
good job and good luck!
Thanks for playing and reviewing!
Yeah, it is very short. I ran out of time.
I would like to have had a bit more of an ending to winning.
I like the sound and the polish. The game itself is nice too. Maybe don't use the Control key because in the browser ctrl+w close the tab, ctrl+s saves, so I was forced to use the arrow keys.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't think of that about the ctrl doing those actions. Sorry.
I used my controller or wasd + left mouse click.
I'll remember that for the future, thank you
Really polished game! Loved the art, wish you the best! Amazing entry!
Thank you so much!
I was a little confused at first, but then I started trying out the controls and figured I had to roll towards the spots on the wall.
The boss fight was really fun and the visual effects were really nice as well and fit with the overall art style :)
The controls were very responsive, it was a good experience!
Thank you for playing and writing your review!
Well done figuring out the secrets of the tomb. I'm very glad you enjoyed it!
