The intro was amazing, and the combat system seemed promising, but the movement is so stiff and animations need more 'punch'. The effect when you block an attack is what your other animations need.

Main character was a douche tho.

Developer

Thank you! Animation polishing noted. And yeah he is :D

I actually laughed when he went into the forest and all the people died haha

OMG, I can only imagine the work that went into making the animation from the beginning, an impressive intro. The combat system seems a little confusing to me, I didn't quite understand the choice of the H and G keys, it makes me a little uncomfortable on the keyboard. Art, music and sound effects are exemplary. A great job for such a short time.

Developer

Thank you!

Thanks :D

Thank you :)

Fun game! The intro sequence really impressed me, especially since it was completed in the Jam's time frame. The combat was pretty good as well, I couldn't just mindlessly swing through enemies and I needed to watch for telegraphed attacks. The music is an added plus, and helps bring it all together.

Thank you very much!

Hey the art was super cool and the cut scenes fit really nicely. The combat is also surprisingly deep from what I played so far! I think having the arm raise controlled by the player before letting the swing fall feels really really good! The block is also satisfying to use. Sick entry.:)

Developer

Thank you very much. Lot's of work went into that enemy AI and it turned out broken. I'm glad you liked my broken AI xd. Shout out to GrimGlory for the art. And yeah for 72 hours jam first two days were the intro and 1st part of the game with the dialogue, the 3rd day we made the combat so it has it's cons. Will be fixed in future update though. Stay tuned for part 2 of the game with the boss fight xd (or don't whatever).

Developer

Glad you liked it, we pulled an all nighter to touch it up as much as we could and fix some of the bugs. It's really nice to see people appreciate what you have done so thank you  very much for taking time out of your day to write this comment :D

I love the art style! Even if there  is not much content in the game it has such a qualilty well done!!

Developer

Thanks. We wanted it to be short and decent.

The art is beautiful. you made a lot in very small amount of time. Keep it up! :)

Developer

Thank you! Shoutout for GrimGlory XD.  It's my first game with him.

Amazing intro! I loved the cinematic and the story telling, and the fact that you could seamlessly blend the tutorial section in the introduction was awesome.

Developer

Thank you! A lot of work went into that! We wanted it to look like a movie in the start so it's interesting for the players to listen the story.

The game looks and sounds super cool, but the gameplay doesn't really match. I spent a few minutes swinging at the same knight and nothing really happened. Other than that, The cinematics were really well done for a jam! Some of the narrative was... off, though.

Very EPIC and EMOTIONAL story!

I like the presentation.

My sword hits feels like, damageless ? And i keep dragging enemies in my chest while moving

Developer

Yeah I should have made it easier to kill enemies. It takes about 6 hits to take down 1 enemy (idk why I thought it was okay), and also I should have made it more obvious that enemies are taking damage, if you try enough you can kill them.

I think you should add deadzone for camera. It's rotating out of control.

Developer

It has one, it shouldn't have problems. Will check. Thanks for the feedback!
