This was great, short and sweet with a bit of melancholy. The switch from the puzzle to the platforming parts was also really cool too. Well done!

Great use of the memory theme and I really liked how you used the limitation,  didn't see that coming!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks you so much :D I really liked your game too! Really stuck with me since I've played it :)

Nice, game,My only problem was the mouse sensitivity

Submitted(+1)

The transition between genres was pretty good and I like your interpretation of the theme. My only problem was the mouse sensitivity.

Developer

Thank you for playing and commenting :)

Next jam I'll try to implement mouse sensitivity option. Im glad you liked the transition it was pretty hard to build especially in 3 days P:

The change to 3D was surprising. I like how it refers to memories from 2d. Unfortunately I fell from rocky path after change to 3D and didn't know how to restart.

Developer

The game supposed to move you back to the start of the rocks if you fall, and also you can press R to restart or ESC to quit the game :)
Thank you for the feedback Im happy you liked it!

Submitted

Yeah, I did press 'R', but this restart the game from the very beginning, which is unfortunate.

Developer

Sorry that it didn't moved you to the start of the second part like its supposed to

The switch to 3D really spooked me! I really enjoyed the visuals and  atmosphere. My download came packaged with a bug where the game would crash after 110 secs so I learned to speed run it!

My only suggestion would to have some sort of player feedback when you did the ground again. It was hard for me to tell if I was on the ground or still falling sometimes. Great game!

Developer

Really great suggestion! Im so sorry the game crashed for you (but Im glad that I gave the opstion to run^^)

Thank you so much for the feedback :)

This game was fun, and I loved the art. However, the camera in the 3d part was so jerky it was extremely difficult to play, that may just have been my computer though. Really cool game!

Developer

Im sorry you found it hard to play, I think its maybe cause I used too much post processing and the mouse senetivty was a bit too high(this and maybe some preformance issues). i'll try to do better next time :) Thank you for the feedback! :D

This was great. I didn't expect it to go from 2D to 3D. Awsome! I remember playing games like that (first part with the cube) when I was little, it really took me back there. I had fun. Thank you. Performance is a problem though. I'm with i-7700 and GTX 1060 and it was till a bit laggy.

Developer

Thank you so much for the reply! I will try to do better next time. :)

I was really impressed with this! Even though the title was a giveaway, it was still clever and I didn't see it coming. When I played the part where you turn around, my first thought was "oh man I'd be so proud of myself if I came up with this." I did find that a few jumps were clanky though, and I played through it three times and couldn't make it to the end without it crashing. But, the art is really nice as is the music! Good stuff, going from 2D to 3D. I've been to spooked to try 3D since I'm new to all this, so the blend was especially cool to see :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your comment! If you hold shift you can run and make the jump a littel bit easier, but Im sorry you were struggling (It was my fault because I didn't have time to explain it in the game). I'm so happy you liked the art! thanks again :D

The game is really beautiful, I liked the idea with the puzzle and the second part of the game :) Congrats!

mmmh, Why does it say Linux but there is only Windows build. That was confusing

Developer

Oh i thought that unity build 'PC, Mac & Linux Standalone build setting' is just creating a  build for all platforms.. sorry :\

Submitted(+1)

So i had the chance to try it on PC,  Nice game.

Does the mouse move in a weird way once in the Room level ?

Developer(+1)

Maybe the mouse sensitivity was a bit to high. I will try to make it better next time. :)

This game idea is great and really well done! The only thing I would point out is that the title made the really cool unexpected turn a little bit expected if you know what I mean....But overall well done!

Developer

Yea I'll keep that in mind XD thanks!

It was an interesting combintaion. The story wasn't that great, but it certainly set the mood.  If there's one thing I didn't like, it's the jumping. It felt too slow and floaty. But other than that, I liked the game.

Developer

Thank you for commenting :)
It was my first 3d game and we build all the assets ourselfs in 3 days so there was no time left for all the important stuff XD
