Thank you for the kind words :D I thought about manual focus too, but I think the controls are confusing enough XD, and it would add some learning curve to using the camera. For the development I used a bunch of free assets for the models (you can probably tell which are mine and which are taken), sounds and particle effects. I also scavenged some code from other projects. Other than that I guess I just decided on an idea early and locked in for the rest of the weekend.

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed it, but I’m probably not continuing on this project. Not exactly sure what you mean by environment. The skybox and distance fog is just unity built-ins. There’s a noise effect on all the textures which is done through a shader, maybe that?

Amazing!

Glad you enjoyed it! You’re right that the controls are a bit too complicated, I should’ve done more playtesting to work it out more. Same goes for the credits system.

Thanks for playing! Regarding the money pool, I tried to get the player to think about what they actually wanted instead of just getting everything. I also thought it helped the gameplay loop of order stuff -> build -> take photos -> repeat, instead of just building all the time. Lastly I wanted the player to get a bit excited every time they could order, in case a photo would arrive (though I know that system is not working rn). But I do see where you’re coming from, maybe I should’ve increased the rate, or made it exponential so you start off poor but can splurge later.

Not exactly sure what’s happening, but feels a lot like Inscryption.

I think this might be the funniest game of the jam. Unfortunately the progress was too slow for me to finish the game, and it got repetitive after a while. Jumping around at the speed of sound was pretty fun though, I could see someone speedrunnig this game. I also love Bee Guy, but I think he yapps a bit too much.

Bnuy ❤

Played through the whole thing and I got quite immersed. Simple story but definitely cozy! Though I must say the best part was the cute fishies in the pond.

Wow, this might be one of my favorite games of the jam, definitely out of the ones I’ve played so far. I love the style of pixel art and the whole character of Soup!! The gameplay loop is also fairly solid, some more reward/strategy for making Soup!! would be nice, but I understand the time constraint.

P.S. love to see the Bevy appreciation <3

Really cute art style, I especially adore the design of Eva. It’s also impressive how much content you were able to put into the game, but for me it did get a bit repetitive.

Cute game! Flying and trying to hit with the pollen was fun, reminds me a bit of Jetpack Joyride. Although when I got to the end the game just kind of froze :/

I’m using the itch app, probably runs on Chromium so idk :/

I love them

Nice little game! It was quite cozy and had a great ambience and overall vibe. The amount of upgrades you managed to cram in is also really impressive. I would have liked some more gameplay when it comes to cooking, as it became a bit boring just having to wait.

I couldn’t play this (in the itch.io app) :( It says:

The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)

Hey Chicken, it’s Bobbo. What happened to the PixelEggs server? And did you get banned from discord?? I tried to reach out via the gmail linked in your github but it didn’t work. Are you ok??

Good to see some scratch appreciation, also did not expect the dumb ways to die song xD very creative game though

Couldn't figure out how to do the second level but props for making it through with such a big team! Especially the artists did a great job :D

Nice game and all but why did it have to be comic sans

Definitely one of the more unique games and looks great too (although why is 100 MB???). Not the most cozy experience for me, but one I will remember!

How did santa invent teleportation

Fun little game with some cozy vibes, nice!

Good gameplay ideas, couldn't figure out how to get past the second level though xD

Can't play it :(

Well done on releasing a game (even if it's early access), although you should make the heavy inspiration from Alto's Adventure clear in the description.

Also the name of the game is wrong in the last paragraph.

Thanks for the kind words, I can assure you no compost boxes were harmed during the making of this game 😊

Simple and fun :D

Definitely a unique idea, I'm sad the assets ended so quickly though

Banger

This is definitely one of the best looking games of the jam!

I'm not sure the timer contributes to the coziness, but a cute platformer nonetheless! The 3D leaf effect is also very nice

Wow, this has a lot of gameplay elements, although the progression could be faster

Very fun game, I placed number 2 on the leaderboard!

It was made for a game jam

You can't expect people to install pygame or even python for that matter :/

I assume you are using the unity particle system for the bubbles. To fix the issue, set "Simulation Space" to "Local" instead of "World".

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed one part of the game at least. The characters are also supposed to talk to each other. I'm not sure why they were not doing it in your playthrough though :/

I don't think this is legal as the description says
