What a great little game!
I mean, essentially you're only doing busywork. This should not be fun. But it is. I have no idea what kind of witchcraft you used to make me enjoy the game as much as I did. I played until I had bought all of the upgrades and even then a little longer. I love all the small little touches like the animation of the music notes. I'm pretty sure, this is my favorite game out of all the submissions I have played. Amazing job! :)
Hey, thanks so much for trying out my game!
I'm glad you had such a good time with it :)
The praise means a lot.
very cute and I appreciate the phone control availability
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, about halfway through devlopment I saw the opportunity to make it mouse only and tocuhscreen controllable, so I made sure to keep it that way. :D
Very cozy game! Like other comments have said there was some trouble trying to figure out how to server the food, but after I figured it out, I was hooked.
Thanks for playing!
I'm glad you had fun after the initial confusion. :)
Finally I took time to test ur game. It's really nice ! The atmosphere is chill and your games mechanics works really web. It's perfect for a chill game session.
I liked it :D
Thanks a lot for checking out my game!
I'm glad you had a good time with it!
I loved the fact you can do everything with just one click. The way you implemented it is really intuitive.
It would be great as a mobile game :p
Congrats!
I have an APK for Android as a download.
So if you have an Android phone and have developer mode activated you install it on your phone.
Otherwise the web version should work on mobile as well.
Great game! Loved the chill and cosy vibes. Art and sounds were nice.
Thanks a lot for playing my game!
I'm glad to hear that you liked it!
Very cute game :)
Took me a little to figure out how to serve the food to customers but once I figured it out I had a lot of fun :)
Love the upgrade system too that made the game very cozy
(and yeah we did use the same asset pack for the food x))
Oh hey, it's my sprite buddy!
Thanks for playing my game! I'm super glad that you had a good time with it. :)
Cute game! I couldn't figure out how to serve the food to the customers. I was able to figure it out by reading the comments here but it would be nice to have some kind of indicator in the game. Otherwise quite a cute and cozy game!
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Yeah, I have that in the description but not the game itself.
Maybe the sprite for the prep station should be bigger or more eye catching...
Or I should just have a text popup explain that aspect.
This game is so cute! I really like how there's no time limit! I just get too nervous when there's one haha.
Anyway good job dev!
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, I thought having no time stress was more fitting for the cozy vibes. :D
It took me a sec to work out that I had to click the top left food icon while at the prep station. Other than that, it was intuitive, and I really like how you managed to implement a few different mechanics with just simple click controls. Also, the amount of things you could buy at the shop was impressive! But I couldn't hear any music even though the music volume was set to full.. is that just me?
Thanks a bunch for playing!
You should be able to hear music, once you buy the Boombox Upgrade.
Before that there is only ambience and sound effects.
Ah my bad, I missed that! (Sorry I am still tired from staying up late to finish the jam)
I just played again and it got the music playing! Definitely feels more cozy with some chill beats.
Cozy. I genuinely felt my heart-rate lower while playing this. The sounds are fantastic and I love the backdrop. Very cute no-stress game :) Great job
Thanks for playing! I'm happy to hear it helped you relax.
And that the sounds are well received. :)
This is the coziest from what I have played so far.
Very chill. And relaxing.
Its little slow at the begining but it gets better as you progress.
I stopped once I had all the upgrades - 'bout half an hour I'd say it took me.
Enjoyable. Great job
Oh wow, I'm honored that you spend so much time on my game!
I'm glad you enjoyed your time. Thanks so much for playing!
I mean it was pretty cozy and it was actually finished so I didn't have to mentaly skip over unfinished parts.
That said you hooked me at the start with the upgrades changing the café visually. - so I wanted to try and see what all upgrades do.
Shame the later ones (to my knowledge) didn't change the scenery. Though I suppose that would be too much visual clutter. But at least the beer kegs would be lovely.
Also thinking about it now I had the upgrade screen open for the entire duration of the game -> it was nice it didn't obscure the rest of the screen so I didn't have t oreopen it all the time but it was also a little slapped on -> having the upgrade screen be somehow more part of a screen -> even something like a sign hanging from the sky would be very nice.
That said I still think your game felt "finished" enough so I enjoyed my time in it.
This was such a nice and cozy little game! Ngl I was a bit stressed at first, but once I got the hang of the mechanics it was such a lovely experience! I really enjoyed that there was no time limit and you could just step by step make your little rooftop cafe become more and more filled with life!
Thanks a alot for playing.
Good to hear you found your way into a relaxed cafe-ownership eventually :D
The Bears Approve
The Charlie is happy :)
Nice little game! It was quite cozy and had a great ambience and overall vibe. The amount of upgrades you managed to cram in is also really impressive. I would have liked some more gameplay when it comes to cooking, as it became a bit boring just having to wait.
Thanks for playing!
Hmm... maybe some Among-Us style mini games for cooking would be cool. But then I would have wanted to create a unique mini game for most of the available foods and that seems like classic overscoping to me. :D
Maybe if I want to upgrade this game in the future I could add those.
I really liked this game! It has a simple gameplay but I found it addictive for a while haha, I love the add-ons, really impressed that you could do all this in just a weekend!
Thank you for playing! I'm happy that you had fun!
I had the whole weekend free to work on this game, so I managed to add a lot. :)
I like the ambiance, sound design, and intuitive gameplay.
Thanks for playing!
I'm glad you had a good time.
