I thought the game got difficult way too fast. I would've liked if the orbs got an introduction before using them in a super hard level. Couldn't get past the second screen unfortunately but it looks like a cute game :)

The art style is super unique, I also liked the wiggle animation when walking and the shadows.

Pixel Art wise I would try to avoid scaling any sprites the next time. Also try to stay consistent when using assets and choose ones that have the same resolution and style. An easy way to do this is to use assets from the same artist / asset pack if you can't get your hands on an artist. Fun Idea with the game though

Thank you :)

Super Impressive. The pixel art is cute, I specially like the ship. Also super creative combining 3 different types of games that were all fun by themselves. I tend to only think of either top down Zelda like game, or Platformer. Only thing I noticed was the Fishes collision shape was kind of small. Seems like they already got past the hook when you catch them.

The mix between 2D and 3D is interesting.  Would've been cool if the flags worked as checkpoints. Waking animation would be cool as well, since you spent most of your time walking. You probably spent a lot of time on the avalanches I assume, they look pretty cool

Considering the scope of a Game Jam this is a really fun and polished game. One small thing I would've changed is the Cursor Colour. It's a little hard to see sometimes.

It's a cute game, congrats on completing your first game jam. Something you should pay attention to next time is having all your assets have the same pixel density. Like for example your Cow character was 16x16 (I think) but most of the other assets were 32x32. This means you have to scale some of them, which you wanna avoid when working with pixel art.

Hey, fyi I'm getting the following Error when trying to start the game: "Couldn't load project data path at "." Is the .pck file missing? If you renamed the executable the package name should also be renamed" and so on.

Thank you :)

Thanks for playing, anything you'd wanna know specifically? I used Aseprite and (for the most part) a colour palette called Juice56.

Absolutely loved this Game and the fact you can make your own beats is CRAZY. Never made music before but with this, it was SO easy and fun. Thank you for making this!

Looks really good already! I've been making a Card Wars TCG game as well for some time. while I don't have any turn structure or card specific mechanics worked out, I've managed to have Cards be created dynamically, meaning I'm not using Scans of Cards and can update their values in real time. What engine are you working in? Maybe we can share some ideas :)

We used Aseprite for pixel art and Godot as the Game Engine :)
