How does your game fit the theme?
The game has 2 phases, a calm peaceful phase and choatic storm phase.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code is mostly mine. A lot of the assets used are from Kenney's Assets. Music and cannonball sounds are made by my wife and I.

The control was smooth, also liked the graphics! Job well done!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Pretty nice! Great job on it!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it
Really fun game, sadly it froze in the boss
The freezing is essentially you beating the game. For some reason in the web version it doesn't display the you won menu. Glad you enjoyed it but :)
pretty addictive game play, loved to go around destroying ships . Challenging as well
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it
Pretty fun! It's funny how the music was so peaceful and serene while I was blasting away at innocent merchant ships. Having to maintain my ammo, food and repair my ship was cool, but would've liked some upgrades as well.
The game froze during the boss battle with the big ship that shot 3 cannoballs at once. I got it looking like just a big metal cannon, then shot at it for awhile, and then it froze - my guess this happened as the thing was about to explode.
Thanks for the feedback! My to do list had a few more upgrades such as a mini game and shields but just ran out of time. Unfortunately the freezing at the end happens when the boss dies. It only freezes in the web export works fine in the editor
Really cute graphics and aesthetic! Took me a bit to get used to moving around with the controls but after that it was pretty fun!
Glad you liked it :)
Considering the scope of a Game Jam this is a really fun and polished game. One small thing I would've changed is the Cursor Colour. It's a little hard to see sometimes.
Thanks for the feedback :) I think the mouse cursor could be slightly bigger to help with visibility
This game is so cool! i love the graphic design and the surging music,it's like i'm the Jack Sparrow haha. I also didn't encounter any bugs, nice job! It's so hard to complete such a game in a short time, but think the only thing can be improved is that maybe next time you can add move enemies or maps,it's a little bit easy for me :)
Thanks for the feedback :) I had a few extra items I wanted to add on my to do list but simply ran out of time
The storm music was pretty catchy, but the game got repetitive and stale after the first few rounds.
Thanks for the feedback. If I had more time it would have been nice to add different types on enemies and different resources
I love that those ships just let themselves be sunk by you without doing anything just because it's not during the storm, that's hilarious. Really liked the music a lot especially, very nice game!
Glad you enjoyed it! Music was made by myself with a lot of help from my wife haha
The music is too loud but I love how the ocean looks and how it moves. The movement of the boat feels good as well. Good job. You could add more vfx to it and it would even better but alas we only have limited time.
Thanks. I did add volume adjustment sliders in the main menu at the start, they don't seem to work with the web version but. I was hoping to add more VFX but just ran out of time and not enough knowledge to implement what I wanted
I liked the pirate theme concept. The art is great, and the water is well done. I played for a while and enjoyed the game! It feels like being in One Piece with the bounty XD.
Thanks for the feedback! I've just caught up to current One Piece so that might be why haha
1) the music is bopping when it hits storm time
2) the purchase area being a place in game you can sail up to reminds me of DOTA for some reason I liked it haha
3) The movement feels very good, often times ship combat movement can feel sluggish, but the right recipe is here. The turn is speedy but still methodical and snappy as well. The AI was good, adhering to the same turning limitations. They didn't feel like they were always bee-lining at me and were dancing a bit, this gave the combat a good flow and feel, felt like proper ship to ship combat, which I love!
Liked this one a lot!
Thanks for the the feedback :) I do agree that cannon fire rate was probably slightly too long. During development I had it almost unlimited, but the sound was annoying and it was kinda unbalanced
Nice job! It's a simple concept but I feel like you executed it well and the end result seems pretty polished. I especially like the wave effect. One thing that I think might make things a bit better is some sort of visual transition between phases. It's a bit abrupt and jarring at the moment, but that could just be my opinion.
Thanks for the feedback. I did have on my list of things to do to have some kind of indicator for when the peaceful phase would end. Just never got around to it
I really like the dramatic shift between phases.
Thank you! It was definitely a large focus for the core game
When the dramatic music kicked in I knew I was sunk lol
Exactly what I was going for haha. Did you manage to get to the boss?
Neat game. I experienced some lag. Fits the theme and the art is nice!
Thank you. Yeah, unfortunately the web version seems to have a couple of hiccups that the local doesn't experience
Sea of thieves vibes
Thank you! Massive compliment :)
