How does your game fit the theme?
It's a platformer where you have to find your cat before a big storm hits. It's a little on the nose, but the core gameplay loop is about resting at benches, waiting for things in the environment to change so you can progress. The initial design pitch was that when the storm comes, it's game over. This is still sort of true, but more because most of the jumps become impossible at that point.
That said, *most* of the game is about everything *before* the storm hits. The abandoned park, the closed trails, and the wind picking up and getting more intense.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Man, I need more of this, because the concept is truly amazing, and its so polished too. This is such a fun experience and I'd love to see it fleshed out. Amazing work to all three of you!
The game is very well made! I like how you can glide the wind to go to high platform. The art is cute, music is charming. Totally love it
Really cute style!
The movement felt really smooth and the storm affecting your glide was a really inspired mechanic that has a ton of potential depth.
As an aside the cut scenes were an impressive bit of polish and I appreciate the tunnel keeping the tradition of heading to the left~
Really neat! I very much enjoyed the cutscenes, added a nice bit of charm to it. The wind physics were a solid touch and a cool way to take the idea.
Really cool mechanics with the umbrella and the weather changes! The art was very nice, too. There were some weird lag spikes at least on the browser version. I appreciated the secret tunnel since I like to explore in games (i.e. go left at the start of platformers).
somehow I'm faster than the cat , still very cool game
luv the art, super cute ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
SUPER AMAZING CONCEPT! I love the idea of travelling with the wind in all different directions. The first time I tried playing this game I wasn't really paying attention and skipped time all the way till the storm because I only saw the right arrow, making the game impossible (which I see now in your description that it was made that way). I came back to the game just now, and skipped to the proper time of the breezy weather, and I had a lot more fun actually being able to continue lol. That aside, I love the pixel art and calming music. It really fits well!
Thanks! Yeah In a tighter designed version of this game I probably would have made benches single use so you couldn't rest all the way to the storm arriving. Or at least better communicate that the storm at 9:00pm is essentially game over.
The polish on this game is amazing. I love the self-contained story you created and had a lovely time playing. I also think it was a very creative idea for the theming. Great job!
probably the most adorable visual style i have seen in this jam so far, and a very unique idea too! incredible job!
Nice game, Liked the direction it was going, Really like the combination between the platforming gameplay and the time of day blowing wind
Found some issues regarding the restart though. It put me back to the beginning of the game instead of the last tent. You might want to check on that
Overall had a great time
WOW very nice! Really liked the creative, unique mechanics with time and the weather, I thought it was very relevant to the theme. The text throughout even has a bit of interesting simple narrative and is also very effective at indicating to the player what to do. All done without resorting to overtly long or boring text on some random note you find or arbitrary piece of paper you pick up, but instead using engaging short dialogue.
I thought the short length of the game is also a PLUS actually - really nice job. I find this to be one of the best submissions for this jam, exceptional job on coming up with something like this. It's also visually very pleasing, the parallax and other things really add to the visual appeal. The audio is also really great, and the controls work very well and feel very smooth.
Nice job on this!
Thank you for the kind words! Yeah it was definitely my intention to communicate to the player what they needed to do without it being too long or overly complex, and having a character exposit that made more sense to me.
love the art and the vibe
Nice game! The art and audio really stand out, creating an immersive experience. Just a couple of things to improve: character movement felt a bit finicky at times, and I encountered some bugs with the restart feature. Overall, great job!
nice game
Amazing Art. Great Job
Thank you :)
Very good idea, which can be developed cool. Implementation is good, especially the mechanics of the umbrella itself. Nice work!
Cool game, Congrats!
Incredible job, the art and audio are amazing and the premise is great. A couple bugs I encountered (At least on the web version) was restarting wouldn’t reset the time (I also got stuck in one part), and also when the particles first load they cause the game to stutter (The way I fixed the particle issue in my game was just emitting them during a loading screen so the lag wouldn’t happen during the game) The one thing I think could be improved upon was the character movement felt a little bit finicky, when it looked like I should have jumped because it was only a few pixels above the ground, it instead activated the umbrella, but otherwise the game was very enjoyable!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm dreadfully aware of all those all of those issues, wish I had time to fix them lol. At least I know better now.
Absolutely loved this game the kitty is super cute and I really love the art style used. This is a gem in the jam and I'm sure this'll do amazing!
