How does your game fit the theme?
The beginning is a little autoscroller where everything chill, and when the player needs to take decision, it starts to go wild

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We did all the code from scratch.
Some assets were made by us, but most of them were found(because we are not artists)

Hee-ho. Interesting game. Nice idea

I love the Tardis so I love this game, nice work!

Cool game - I like the concept and it felt fun! I can't put my finger on why, but I was a little lost, so some clarity within the game would've been good.

Loved the references and comments. I didn't quite understand how it fits the theme

Loved the TARDIS at the end!

Pixel Art wise I would try to avoid scaling any sprites the next time. Also try to stay consistent when using assets and choose ones that have the same resolution and style. An easy way to do this is to use assets from the same artist / asset pack if you can't get your hands on an artist. Fun Idea with the game though

Developer

Thx for the advice ! Yeah, the sprites(the windows xd) were scaled, we didn't had the time to do the sprites again properly, so that was a fast solution for the moment.

This was absolute chaos, and I loved it. QTE and simple choose your own adventure style gameplay never gets old in my book.

Great work!

Thx !

The game seems a bit chaotic and I didn't really understand what I was doing or why. But I liked the graphics and the music

Developer

The development was as chaotic as the game then xD. We put a bit of a story in the description. Thx for the feedback !

Interesting choose your adventure game that follows the sidescroller, kind of reminds me of henry stickman games. Main issue I had was that I felt very lost in what I was doing. After a few attempts I understood that collecting the items gave more dialogue choices, but I was quite lost in what I was doing and it didn't feel very chill. An intro/tutorial would massively benefit this and make the game overall more cohesive. The choose your adventure section was nicely made and interesting, it just needs a little spice to make the decisions feel more responsive. But great work for a 1 week game jam :)

Thx for the feedback ! Henry stickman was the main inspiration(maybe too much). It was hard to let know the player he can collect items and it will add choices, and not say it directly(maybe we could have let the first item on the ground on purpose). And the game wasn't that long so we didn't change it.

I really enjoyed the quirky little comments when your decision ends badly :D

We wanted to put an animation for each of them but we didn't had the time sadly. It would have been perfect xD

Nice game! I liked playing again to find different routes, I haven’t seen it often this far in game jam. Though I’m not sure there is any kind of story x) You could use the description to tell more about it and about the game’s replayability maybe? Make sure to credits the assets (graphics and music).

Maybe the chilling part could have been more chill too, like moving around and having to find hidden items? So it feels more “calm” and fits better the theme. Just a thought anyway, thanks for the pokémon I guess, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback, we just added replayability. We will improve the description to include everything that's missing. We ran out of time, so we couldn't integrate the story presentation into the game, but we will add it to the description.

Good story and nice visuals!
