"Count em" is a cool song, I liked how it was pure percussion and employs a lot of interesting sounds that sound "dicey"

very nice orchestration on this one, the shifts in intensity over the course of each song are well done

Super cool production on this one, first thing I noticed was how clear, big and spacious everything sounds. Reminds me a bit of the Celeste OST in terms of its dynamics and the "wavy" synths

Hey there! Sorry for the late response. This is not a real game, this is a fake soundtrack for a "game" that was made during an OST jam (like a game jam, but just for musicians making an OST for a non-existent game that corresponds to a theme). The theme was just the phrase "A Story of Seasons" and everything else is just stuff I made up for the jam

Would love to see the project when it's done btw!

Hi there! Thank you so much. Go ahead, this was just an OST jam submission and was not planned to be used for anything else, so if you want to use it you can as long as you credit me.

Really enjoy the jazziness of this one, it sounds like the menu music to a sort of futuristic RPG or something

The production quality on this is awesome, really high quality arrangements

Dark Scary Season absolutely slaps. I'm kind of blown away, reminds me a bit of Flying Lotus.

EDIT: I posted this having not listened to the remaining tracks. Now that I'm hearing more of it, this is absolutely crazy in the best way. As someone who was/is super in to prog/math rock and all that crazy experimental stuff, I'm having a wonderful time listening to this

Really like that bassline in Scene with Leaves

Reading your description for the theme of your game was kind of crazy to me, since I feel like we sort of came up with the same concept independently, and we both used Reaper which made it almost feel like I was seeing an alternate dimension version of myself haha. That being said the feel of our OSTs definitely sound much different.

Overall I enjoyed it, I think Winter Storm is my favorite due to the dramatic harmonic minor type stuff. It would've been cool to see some of these fleshed out a little more, but I totally understand how the time constraint can make that difficult. The instrument choice sounds nice as well

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it! Winter is also my personal favorite as well

Aggggh looks like I somehow set the playlist to public, but all of the songs on it were still private. Thanks for the feedback though!

Accidentally had it set to private sorry, thanks for letting me know

Ahhhh you're right I just fixed it, thanks for letting me know

Cool! I have just been using free plugins from Ignite + free version of Amplitube for my guitars/bass, so I'm always interested to see what other people are using.

Ahh you definitely should! I figured you might not have since you said the metal was unexpected, because the metal soundtrack is one of the defining features of the game lol

Really like the mix on this one, the synth tones are great

Sounds good, I noticed you listed just some guitars and a Focusrite (same one I used for my submission) for your gear, does that mean you were using DI guitar/bass with plugins?

This definitely nails the PS1 era JRPG feel, nice job

Nice arrangement, this sounds really natural in 8-bit form. Never played the original game but after hearing the original song, this is a good adaptation

Nice arrangement, I definitely second the "Halo mixed with fantasy" comment

I never finished Chrono Trigger (I have a real bad problem with giving up on JRPGS like 20hrs in) but I recognized when the bassline from the battle music came in and it was awesome. Really nice production quality on this too

Thanks, glad you liked it! The final guitar harmonies took the most takes to get down out of everything here lol

Thanks! Glad you commented on the "theremin", I don't know if there's actually a theremin in the OST but I honestly just thought it was a synth and trying to replicate the tone with my own synth was honestly probably the most difficult part of this whole thing for me lol

Thanks, much appreciated!

Thanks! That tempo change is supposed to mimic the second (and/or third) phase of the final boss

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, have you played and/or watched Hades before?

Thanks, much appreciated!

Wow this is a really solid arrangement. Well done
