Introduction - Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
Is this a cover, tribute, or medley?
Description
Even before the theme had been announced, I already had the idea to do a Pokémon game. When it got released and was "New Beginnings", I came up with the idea of arranging the openings to one of the games. It just seemed fitting to do Diamond and Pearl with the remakes just around the corner.
I arranged the track in an orchestral style, specifically wanting to keep the feel of the original while applying more modern sampled instruments as well as expanding the tracks themselves. I arranged the track in FL Studio, but did some of the more complex orchestral arranging (like some of the string chords) in MuseScore 3, and then recreated it in FL.
I really enjoyed doing another OST Composing Jam (especially with how different it felt compared to the previous one), I'm just disappointed that I didn't have much time to work on it as I would have liked to have arranged more than just the one track.

Very clean arrangement indeed. A lovely adaptation while staying faithful to the series. Great job on the balancing overall by the way.
Wow, this sounds beautiful, I got the childhood feelings. I can't express how the bells at 1:57 made me feel haha. Awesome work :)
Great Job! Really sounds faithful to the original soundtracks. Love the orchestration
Orchestration sounds great, good job! I haven't heard the original track, but the melody reminds a lot of the title theme from Heart Of Darkness.
Its a nice track, I really liked the second half of this, starting around the 2 minute mark
Wow this is a really solid arrangement. Well done
Awesome cinematic take on these themes. Works great arranged like this!
Very solid orchestration and overall production. I loved it!
Nice choice of instruments. You really kept the vibe of the originals.
