Oooh, my bad! I thought that our inspirations was supposed to be incorporated into the 8-page-entry itself and I didn't even check the "screenshots" section for your submission! Thank you so much for the clarification!

And I definietly agree with your last point - it really is all up to the GM and the party ^^

Looks fantastic. I think these are the best maps I've seen so far, they're REALLY cool!

Thanks!!! I really strived for that! Although now I really wish I did what some other participants did - to style the entry as a Weird Tales magazine - such a cool idea <3

Thank you so much! It was a last-minute addition but I really liked it in the end as well!

Not necessarily - I mean that there are so many different types of things that you want to convey with normal font, bold font, italics, bullet points, pointy bullet points etc. that it all seems kind of scattered, not very streamlined. I don't to sound harsh - these are amazing things that you're trying to say! But to my mind, Shadowdark is an epitome of those succint descriptions that use only the bare bones of language and leave all the rest for the GM (or PCs). On the other hand, who says that Shadowdark adventures have to follow footsteps of the style the textbook was written in? So maybe I am hyperfixating a little?

(I hope it all makes sense, English is not my first language :D)

I love the fact that you used this vintage illustration on page 4 instead of a map like all the rest of us normies did ;D My only complaint about this module is that it seems really combat-heavy with no triggers to role-play a little. But we all know that there are parties that love this sort of game, so it would be perfect for them ^^ What were the "Weird Tales" covers that you received as an inspiration?

I think this is the best module of about 25 I've read so far. Many are great but most of them have some big flaw, usually in a layout that makes them hard to digest (and hard to DM, I imagine). If I really have to nitpick I would repeat what  @Taylor (Signals From Beyond) said - I also prefer when there is some leeway for the players to talk themselves out of the encounter etc. But overall this is some solid piece of content and I love it!

I think that idea for a darkness that comes from a solar eclipse is freaking BRILLIANT. But I also have to say this: these four encounters and minor mischiefs don't seem able to fill hours of playtime... But I think they are a lovely start and I would love to see what you can do with this project if you try to expand it further! :)

I love that it is sci-fi and that it has one main encounter that will hunt the PCs down, both of this qualities make your module REALLY stand out. I have to admit, in my opinion the Dungeon Key needs a bit of tweaking because in current shape it's not easy to read, it lacks a bit of flow. But what it lacks in flow it makes up for in the general vibes! As a huge horror fan I adore all the horror beats - major ones (like the severed head begging for help) and mino ones as well (the fact that Voyager will repeat the last utterance of an assimilated character is such a nice touch!)

I think you were dealt pretty tough cards with your random covers but you did wonders with it! My only wish would be a little more of an adventure (not necessarily encounters!) to actually play through. But all in all, I think your work is pretty unique and distinct among other entries :)
